There is no shortage of "smoke" I've been to Jamaica four times and have never had a problem finding it. Don't waste your time with the guys at the airport. You will do much better at your resort, down on the beach mon.

I use the Sony Vegas program for editing. I've have a lot of practice, so it doesn't take me that long anymore. However, doing photos like this is more time consuming. I can't remember exactly, but I'm thinking about 45 minutes to edit this. The photos are Cindy's. Thanks for your very kind words. :)

the only problem is that there are people who come in and sell weed and other stuff on the beaches......don't know why the security guards let them in but they do.....other than that it was the best trip of my life!!

Had a good holiday there! Weather is amazing! the hotel is nice but i can see why its rated 3.5 The pools are quite dirty and tiles need replacing but its good overall! One major downfall is, there is NOTHING to do at night in the hotel.

me and 13 others came here for my parents wedding.. we went to swim with dolphins, climbed dunns river falls.. went to another island for lunch.. snorkelling..

the weather is magic.. the people there are awsome.. ive not got anything bad to say about this place except.. YOU WONT WANT TO LEAVE...

We did all-inclusive and turn-around flights. It meant alot of flying, but I love flying. . . The prices varied, but we checked thru last minute deals with Sell-off. Got some great prices.

dude, i LOVED this resort. you just have to realize that jamaica is pretty much a 3rd world country and just avoid the little things like bugs, etc...

We've stayed here six times. It's a resort for families on a budget. The room was fine, the food plentiful and tasty, the beach comfortable and the pools perfect. If you want luxury, spend more. Staying here is like buying a ticket on Southwest Airlines...you know what you're buying, and if you want more, just pay for it.

This is an awesome resort.. so awesome that I plan to go in april which will make it my 3rd time with in a 13 month period... its my home and the workers are part of my extended family!!

How did you get sooo much info on Starfish Trelawny???

We stayed there a year ago. Out of 7 resorts within a six week period from Oct-Dec 2007, despite the 2 things that happened, the Starfish and Jamaica was definitely my favorite place of all. The service was tremendous the employees were so friendly and nice, like I said before, the food was exceptional and tons of it. It's a really pretty resort and incredibly clean.

It was rated at 3.5. Odd, as it does have alot of amenities: the food was incredible, nice pools, free lessons etc. It might be because of the accommodation. Our room was a tad dated and a couple of ceiling tiles woke us one morning falling into the tub. However, it was quaint and clean and I believe that section was going to be remodeled.

Make sure you do have everything when you leave. I left a very expensive dress there and it well . . . disappeared even though I contact the resort the next day.

I love this video, it make's me wish I was still there. We went Mar/08 and had the best time we've ever had on vacation. My wife. myself and our 4 kids had a blast. We're already planning next years Holiday. I especially recognized Kevan Brown ( one of the entertainment staff) A great guy. He made the trip for us. Treated us like royalty. I went to starfish in summer 2007 it was my best holiday ever i met amazing friends, the food was great (bacon buttys for breakfast everyday) staff were amazing and of course hurdlyn on the trapees. Ma dad imbarressed me by doing the builder in the YMCA one night, but it was ver funny! big it up to Ross, Alexa, katie,mat,mika and all the others who made the trip for me !

This is crazy. This is my favorite resort of all time too. I was there the same week and i recognize most of the tourists (and staff) in the video. A lot of the staff have changed though -- there are a lot of new lifeguards. I just came back last friday!

I've been to Trelawny twice. The locals are great! The club across the street to the right of the resort has great local food. If you want to taste raw sugar cane or drink some fresh coconut juice ask around. Bring beads for the ladies that do hair, it's a great way to give back to the island. Don't be afraid to walk the beach and make some friends. And please remember to tip your maid!!!! Huge Hugs!

We had a great time we especially liked the tractor racing up and down the beach missing sun bathers by inches and crashing into the staff building when it knocked the aircon unit off the wall. The food was good too! we like to eat in a roadside canteen style joint where kids have been allowed to put half eaten food back into the trays.. What a S**thole... I'd sooner holiday inside a cardboard box.
