if this was made today, they would've devided it into 2 movies because of all the characters there wasnt much room to feature them right. I agree on how many they had but they killed fan favorite Rain like 30 min. into the film, sheeva forget about her. Yeah that was part of the problem (bad acting mainly) but that would've helped

@ChernomirdinReturn Bad writing. Low budget.. Bad editing. Horrible acting. B-Movie dialogue. Baraka's rubber mask. Did not reveal Mileena's real appeareance; that should have been a given. Sheeva was terrible. Motaro was ridiculous. They had the bug dude from "Fright Night Part 2" play Shao Khan. No coherent story. Embarrassment to the franchise. Jax was corny. Not enough of Scorpion and Subzero. Bad special effects. The list goes on and on.

however , I do LOVE the 1st film way more for nostalgic and cherished reasons , but this film satisfied me either way. is it bad? yes. is it the worst video game fil out there? well , honestly , no. even today's films are gettign much worse with horrible films that are much worse. and even idiots who think prince of persia is the best , well , to be honest and to the point , no it isnt. I really need to make a video about this subject. bottom line , yes its bad , but I like it either way.

especially films like batman and robin people trash this film , but yes , there will be this small band of people who do like the film. and yes another terrible film , troll 2 , did finally find its audience as the documentary that came out this year explains. films are NEVER 100% bad or 100% good. no film is total garbage or total masterpieces. its just not possible for every single film out there to have everyone agree with you bad or good. I like this film , and thats all really to it.

you know , its not really all that bad as people makwe it out to be. I saw it opening weekend back then with NO expectations and accepted what I saw. I didnt judge films harshly like I do today. yes this film is rather bad , but you know what? I like it for what it is. to me it felt like a cheesey saturday morning tv show in a 90 minute film. its not as bad as other films out there. also , any bad films tend to gets its audience and even the worse films out there , there is people who like them.
