I look at boogaloo shrimp the way I look at the sugar hill gang or MJ. some cats may not be the "best" but they may be the right person to bring something to the masses. I'm 43 I used to watch all this and pop and break. there were cats on the streets that were technique wise on par with shrimp and of course the new generation is better because what they've taken is the basics which our generation created. shrimp was unique and relatable to the masses. the right person at the right time.

How can you talk like your opinion is fact man........in my opinion you are tottally wrong Boogaloo Shrimp back in the 80s technically would have beaten Mr wiggles, I have seen alot of clips of Mr wiggles in the early 80s around the same time Shrimp was around and mr wiggles was good but technique wise he was not on par with Shrimp....Shrimps ticking waving and other techniques......him and poppin taco were about perfection whilst Mr wiggles etc had loads of moves but were very sloppy!

@ColinRayko Wow,where i come from Mr wiggles was one dimensional shrimp could get on the tile as well as ticking(that's what we called it tick waving) and popin and no body til this day can float better then shrimp that's where he beat out a lot of comp once he started floating across the floor it was a rap! what made Mr wiggles nice was he could wave his entire body simultaneously, from a standing position to the floor and on to his back but that's it he repeated the same move's at every show.

I dont think Mr wiggles was better than shrimp in the 90s the only reason why people may think Mr wiggles was better was because he had alot more footage out than shrimp, Shrimp literally has one video out from the 90s which is 97 to be exact when he turned 30 and that is the osaka performance and judging from his poppin skills from tht i think he would beat mr wiggles but if only there was more footage of him poppin in the 90s
