  • it dosent matter what way just the other leg has to be oppisate like if the left leg was clock wise the right leg would be counter clock wise i mean for polos

  • Are you serious? You're wrapping the wrong way. Not to mention you start in the middle and wrap to the bottom.. Then go back up again. Not from the top. Why hasn't this video been deleted yet..?

  • @dawson2116 Well starting from the top or the middle is more of a preference thing as long as there's an even amount of wrap around each part of the leg, but I agree with everything else :) Wrapping this way can cause a bandage bow cause it puts pressure on the tendons unnecessarily, and it's not natural at all!

  • You bandaging the wrong way! One should bandages back to front so that it tightens / press behind, not forann. This is absolutely not good for bone, can be destroyed by it.

  • not trying to be mean but this lady dose not know anything about horses sooooo far

  • @Msmusicca ikr!? i can NEVER get my bandeges to look that good! im learning alot about bandiging right now in pony club, im almost reddy to take my D 3!!! woho!

  • @BreyerGals678 what does ikr mean?

  • @Msmusicca i know right

  • @Msmusicca i know right

  • She should take this video off, it will make people hurt horses.

  • Its wrong way

  • i have heard that exercise bandages can cause tendons to bow is that correct as that is why i dont use them

  • @mehavebesthorse

it's very true! they can, and if you do it wrong, it can cause really serious tears in the tendons

bandaging is useful when done properly.

She has started from the tendons on this occasion - wrong. you should really start from the cannon bone, the front of the leg or else the pressure is all on the tendons causing them to bow. Your horses leg should also be straight, like when he's standing properly.

learn how to do it properly (not by this video) and you'll be fine :)

  • @horsey2807 thanks x

  • what's a fibergee?

  • I doesnt really matter what way it goes as long as its protecting the legs!

And also it depends what bandage you use and what part of the leg its meant to protect guys i think kate knows more then you guys!

  • I doesnt really matter what way it goes as long as its protecting the legs!

  • i love your accent

  • how did this woman become a lecturer?!?!?! just so ya no lady ur pulling the tension of that bandage across his tendon.... when its meant to be across his canon bone... for someone who is paid to teach people that on a daily basis... thats pretty terrible

  • You always wrap a horses tendons in.

Never out or that could cause your horse to go lame.

  • thanks for the help

  • I don't think these people would be allowed to have horses if they were not taking proper care of them.. just saying.

  • i have a question you now on some vidieos they go right down around the bottom of the fetlock bit is that wrong or can u just do it both ways

  • actually it doesn't matter what why round you wrap it the horse has tendons back and front. you are always told go bk to front but that only work on out side of leg because the inside is going front to back so IMO. it makes no difference tension is more important. and if any one can come up with sicnefic edvidence to prove othrwise plsdo as its soemthing that has buggedme for years

  • Actually with fiber-g she was raping correct, you go in the direction of the fiber-g. I don't ride like that but I have seen many professionals ride with fiber-g.

  • i dont use the 'fiber-g', i just use the polo wraps on the horses legs.

but its pretty much the same thing, i mean they're wrapped the same around the horses legs, but the polo wraps arent a very stretchy material, but they're still supportive if you know how to do them right

  • @horsesruleguysdrool

that can cause uneven tension on the horses legs

  • @larnaxoxo no not always, you've just got to make sure you don't make them to tight or to loose in one area on their legs :) if you don't know how to wrap them right, use boots ;)

  • You wrap clockwise on the right leg, not counter-clockwise!

  • @mhays3887

Yeah! they are messing the horses leg up not hepling it .

  • @starslillybug2010 and @mhays3887 Actually its personal perference on how people bandage! I uesed to bandage completly different to everyone else i knew! the only difference was theres onoly lasted short journeys mines lasted for a two hour journey!!!!

  • @mhays3887 it doesn't really matter... your still putting the same pressure on.

  • This Is Very Good; Your Horse Is Nice Too x

  • @LillBabiBoo she is waping the rong was and not making it neet enough that would make ur horse lame
