play triplets slow and get faster, learn how to accent your left hand on off beats. A good song to learn that would help is "There Is" by boxcar racer. Great left hand accents.

The silly thing about saying that this kid has no life is that being able to finger drum like that doesn't require a whole lot of time to learn. I learned to finger drum pretty damn well (albeit not as fast as this dude) by being bored in fucking high school. All you gotta learn is a couple of basic patterns and speed them up and mix them up and shit. It doesn't take a big part of the day.
