  • This was filmed back when he was driving a truck

  • you put your hand in something electrical that was sparking?

  • There your problem. The TV is on channel 77!

  • hey look at all that dangerous sparking.. hey i have an idea lets put my fingers inside very smart

  • dude is that like a 1980s tv? man u should just get a new one

  • what is this?

  • bad solder connection on PCB.

  • well it dont like you

  • must be a short in the circuit

  • SMASH THE TV!!

  • Made in China

  • I mean Made in Malaysia

  • I thought i had problems

  • bad solder joints I bet...

  • men in tights! you son of a bitch!!!

  • I know TVs like those are dirt cheap.

  • maybe you have an condensator problem...

  • WOW YOU ARE A FOOKING NERD...FILMIMG ELEVATORS...THEN FILMING YOUR TV THAT BELONGS IN THE 90's...BUT TO TOP THAT OFF, YOU PUT YOUR HAND INSIDE THE VCR SLOT, WHEN THE TV IS OBVIOUSLY DANGEROUS....

YOU SIR ARE AN "EPIC NERD"

  • @C0mm3n Nice stupid all caps comment, fuckhead.

  • wow, only about 8 seconds of this was worth watching. The rest was fail.

  • If the tv set will be repaired the VCR will work fine :D

  • what tape is this

  • try best buy brand insignia.

  • Comment removed

  • put in a vhs tape and tv cuts off did the same thing to my magnavox tv/vcr/dvd combo

  • "I don't know about putting a tape in it, I don't want to loose my tape..."

But then you stick your hand in there? - Might as well, you have two of those, but VHS tapes are becoming harder to come by these days.

  • Try pouring 4 cups of iodine salt into the tv through the vent grill holes on the top.

This should insulate any components that may be arcing out.

But make sure you lay paper down first to contain and excess that may spill out.

    Saves you a vacuuming later.

  • That tv needs repair watch out from electric shock

  • @LiviuJETIX its 12 volt it isnt going 2 hurt u...........

  • @nate1294 Ok my favorite tv is LCD and plasma with transformer adapters not electrick shock

  • I hate vcr players. My TVs VCR wrecks the tape and my DVD and VCR broke complete when I put a tape in

  • @pika6767 If a VCR is working properly, it should last for years and even decades.

  • @pika6767 thats cause u have a shitty vcr

  • I have a sylvania tv (22") and when you put a tape in it turns off

  • So you paid $20 buck for it haa?

  • RCA had a similar effect on their defective IFT, (intergrated flyback transformer) or most commonly referred to as a flyback, the transformer develops a micro hole somewhere on the transformer and it arcs like crazy at shutdown. Got my replacement at ASTI Transformers. In your case this might be happening.

  • This reminds me of the problem RCA had, there would a small almast micro hole on the intergrated flyback transformer, it caused it to arc but the tv did work. Got the replacement from Asti.

  • robbinhood men in tights you should be ashamed of yourself thats an awesome movie

  • silicone the flyback transformer

  • damn nigga...... don't you have anything better to do???

  • How is it a fail its a TV a VCR and fire starter!

  • Smash the living shit out of it while pluged in!

  • Bad solder joint in the power supply would be my guess

  • I was expecting what I call the Poltergeist II effect (in the movie when Carol Ann puts here right hand towards the TV set and sparks go off and a ghost transports her) I had 2 CRT TV's do that (they where both at least 13 years old) One a Sony made in 1983 did the Poltergeist spark in 2002 damn lasted almost 20 years and only had 36 CATV channels unless you hooked up to 75/300 ohm converters one for VHF and one for UHF connected via 2 way splitter to CATV outlet then you could have 81 chan.

  • you should get a blank tape for testing these things! You can still buy them at most places that sell other media

  • yep, it's definitely not working... let's turn it on a couple more times

    common sense FAIL :P

  • How did it break?

  • Do this on July 4

  • @nivekevinutz with a couple sparklers!

  • I have the same one

  • ugh ok Mr. it just has a cold solder joint on the motherboard connecting to the power source. Same thing happens to the original xbox :D

But who cares its a POS anyways.....

  • 3 2 1 ......beep beep

  • What's the thing next to the laptop? It looks like some kind of terminal.

  • Its called grabbing a screw driver, taking it apart, and figuring out how to fix it. there's nothing fried on it, just a loose wire or something. I never had that problem with any of my tvs, but thats probably because mine were never small enough to be bounced and kicked all over the place.

  • your a fuk tard you say you care about that homo movie but watch your ass freak out when you cant get it back

  • @thefarley8989 He could sell it.

  • just a little short circuit

  • Don't care, don't care, don't care. God! Don't care!

  • epic fail of a video

  • epic fail of a video

  • throw it out

  • tv: OM NOM NOM TASTY HAND

  • It's a bad solder connection in the inverting power supply. Easy fix.... but your probably have a 6:19 LCD DVD player in your truck by now.

  • whats up with thous nails uuuh there nasty

  • Send that to dovetastic so he can microwave it.

  • 20$ :0 more like 10 cents

  • Yeah, thanks for wasting 6 minutes of my life.

  • hahah u didnt have to watch all 6 min dumb dumb

  • Well, when I see "exploding" in the title, I expected the damn thing to explode.

  • your Focus/G2 block is shorting internally.

  • do u live in ur car?

  • It's the entire board that's fried. I had a portable Zenith TV, didn't work anymore, because there was sparks inside, and the power button died, so we threw the POS away.

  • Was that a $20 dollar price tag on it? You got riped off.

VCR? no one has a VCR anymore.

  • ur the bigest fagget

  • should have sent it to the guys at "Is it a good idea to microwave this".

  • :)) HA HA HA what a TV fireworks on it hahahahahahahahaha:))

  • Just travel with this 110V TV to Europe, and then plug it in - the 240V will do the rest XD

  • speaking about fireworks, MAKE IT A BLOCKBUSTER NIGHT! & POP IN A BLOCKBUSTER then light the fuse :P

  • Have dovetastic pop in a Blockbuster and microwave it.

  • I would not do that if I were you, wan't you, your wife and stepsons killed by getting blowed up!?!?!?

  • I just wasted 6 inutes of my life right there. thx

  • nobody cares if you lost minutes of your life.

  • Well, Sell it! As long as you get the MONEY.

  • that was actually for dieselducy: Well, Sell it!

  • mine is a sylvania mts/sap dvd vhs player built in every time i watch a tape it shuts off and ejects the tape you need to keep the tape in the TV to keep the cable and TV from shutting off help!

  • Sylvania TV-VCR Combo(Unknown Date Of Birth - Tuesday 6/2/2009)

  • Ladies And Gentlemen,Sylvania TV-VCR Combo Is No More.

  • The high voltage is sparking. open it up, turn it on and look for sparks. Turn off* and clean the area where the spark jumped.

*the CRT holds voltage long time after turn off, if you dont want to get zapped, stick a screwdriver grounded to the case under the "suction cup" thingy before you start cleaning.

  • Maybe the transformer inside has gone bad.

  • If it has fireworks, bring it to a 4th of July party! :-)

  • Sometimes long ago with my TV/VCR Combo and still have it, when the N64 is connected to it sometimes in the middle of the night, the thing would make a very loud "CLAP" sound and the screen would be white as snow! When the first time it did that, I thought something exploded XD!

  • get a new one

  • if it wasnt illegal id say drag it behind the truck down the highway lol and film it too but thats not safe so just save it get another tv from walmart or big lots then smash the busted one with a sledge hammer

  • Walmart sucks, don't buy anything from them.

  • @ElevatorMan2012: Mal-Wart: Your source for cheap plastic junk!

  • OH thats probably easy to fix..
