Yes it has an UMD function.. They said it at the E3. They said that they wouldn't wanted to lose the UMD drive. The UMD slot is located at the side of the PSPgo. Look it up...

The PSP Go is entirely different from the PSP 3000. The Go does not have UMD support, meaning everything is downloaded. It does have touched up graphics, a new design, and other new features.

i mean. unless you hack it and get free games. its useless. its too expensive. may end up cheaper to buy a ps3. you pay just under ps3 game money for a psp game, which you can finish under a day. then they get boring. so its too expensive and pointless. i bought mine the day they came out and ordered it from japan. and sold it 4 months after. maybe that was my era. but still.

Itll be bundled together with future PSP 3000. It doesnt support UMD discs, only downloadable games.
