Al-shabab and their affiliates will never accept to share the rule of the country. They made that point well clear, and want to have an absolute power where no other party can override their judgments.
These suicide bumbings is their method of fighting to annihilate their opponents and gain power.

Let Al-Shabaab rule, and open dialogue to those in the ranks who have nationalistic ambitions, while continuously putting millitary pressure on them.
Current approach is just serving to prolong the misery of the Somali people and leaving an ever present threat to western interest in that part of the world.

There is only 2 solutions: 1) Wipe out the Alshabaab militia, going to the extremes of relocating millions of people from their villages and putting them in controlled zones. Maintaining this population with proper nutrition, education etc. While hunting these thugs to the last one of them. Unfortunately this will require billions of dollars and serious commitment from the west.
