@south6bt actually after reviewing this more i realized that the second time the man touched him he infaact did not touch cadel evans at all.watch 0:17 and you will see the man is trying to rub the lion bear and cadel evans didnt want him to so when i saw ur explanation the first time it made sense but the man didnt touch cadel at all the second, a bot over protective of his things some might say....................

@mountainridersvk Okay, no worries champ. You are obviously the expert at pain related injuries when one crashes badly enough off a bike to land on your arm hard enough to break your elbow. Obviously only his elbow would have been in pain, no other parts of his arm would have suffered any pain from the crash.....

I am something like expert;)... was athletic pro, did also road cycling several years,ride mx bike, now i ride downhill and I'm semipro freerider... so I had many crashes and injuries and if somebody react like this on touch then he is pussy (and I think Evans is not that) or stupid primadona...

@mountainridersvk I don't know what to say. It is pretty clear to me what happened, but others are going to say differently because they approach it from a different angle than I do. It's clear to me there are two sides to the story, but you are judging on a very short clip without any background leading up to the incident. Today's society is too eager to judge first and do research later, and that's fine, just don't expect me to respect you for it.

Like others have said here, pain or no pain, that reaction is not good sportsmanship, and tbh, Cadel Evans has done this sort of stuff on more than one occasion. If anything he should have stopped what he was doing and verbally put him in his place, even if he warned him previously. I wouldnt mind betting it's roid rage, theyre all on very good drugs, numerous whistleblowers have come out in recent years, plus the actual positive tests. He needs to settle down imao. And I'm Australian

@Mazurka1001 No, Cadel Evans needs to learn to do the right thing like all sportsman i'm afraid, the only one acting like a monkey was him, all he had to do was walk away in the beginning and point out the guy also acting like a monkey, but no he carried on like a porkchop, how old is he, well into his 30s at this stage, he's a grown man, and should act accordingly. We all make mistakes, and Cadel should handle the media better. Beyond this congrats on winning this years Tour, deserved it.

He is not the most likeable of guys. His competitors don't like how he is always riding the wheels of others. Not an attacking guy in the mountains that you can gain a rooting interest in like Armstrong, Shleck or even Contador. Not a good guy to promote cycling I think sadly.

@Mazurka1001 You try being in that much pain and controlling your impulses. I was once in so much pain when I injured my knee (severed patella tendon) that I could not hold back and lashed out (briefly) at the people getting me onto the stretcher. That thoughtless wanker had it coming to him.
