sony always says they were gonna fix the online for their baseball games. hell, their baseball games always had problems since mlb 06 the show : (. this is pretty much why i don't buy anymore baseball (and sports games in general) after mlb 06 the show on ps2.

Man, online looks terrrrrrible. I'm still getting this though. I get bad connections on most other sports games anyway and usually stick to single player dynasties and local multiplayer. And this game looks really good at doing everything else.

How come they can make a 32 online mutiplayer battle run with no hiccups, but relatively slow paced baseball games always have trouble? Doesn't make sense.

Pasta, that red bar under ONLINE is a "ping" bar... its red, so I wouldn't say that you have a "good" connection at all. Try to get a green bar and see how it runs.

Regardless of what it shows there, at the team select screen it showed either "great" (at first) and then "good". Then the game started...

That is BRUTAL. I don't understand how games with SO much more going on don't lag nearly this bad. No sports games besides baseball games lag this much. Not even close. It makes you wonder how a game of Call of Duty, or Resistance can play so well...
