I agree with this video. Students who drop out are cowards who won't face academic hardships. Being bored at school is the lame excuse to do so. Although drop out rates decreased in recent years, some still don't graduate because they didn't earn enough credits and failed exit exam. If they are close to graduating, stay. Even if they turned 18 years old during senior year.. High school graduation is the path to better future.

@shtdragon you just don't know here in ALABAMA you can pass all of your classes and still don't graduate because that what happen to me i had 33 credits out of 4 1/2 years including constant bullying messy sudents hypocrite teachers and me being in special ed. it's not fair that I had to go thru all of that but I can agree with you on some of them being cowards. but high school dropouts set themselves up for failure that ain't finna happen to me.

I dropped out freshman year. Not because I was a "coward" but because I refused to conform. We are here on this earth to learn. Whether you get your education from a place that's already set up for you or on your own; a skill is a skill.

@GuitarHeroPhenomSux Okay, many families with college education tend to push their children to apply. Like my parents.So they had to make sure that they get enough education to get good life. However, special cases like Bill Gates dropped out because his parents were rich, and he's intelligent. They let him start his business right away. However, some college students get honorary degrees also for special circumstances. Currently, my parents are pushing me to get Bachelor's Degree.

@shtdragon, Exactly. You know what my parents did? They pulled me out in the second grade to homeschool me. We did no work and I basically got a year off. I went back in third grade and got pulled out again in the sixth. Again, three years off, no school work; I went back in the ninth grade and got pulled out three months later. I'm now nineteen and have no ambition whatsoever. I want money but have nothing pushing me to get it.

@fugiboo Yes, one test that you need to study for and take classes for is 4 years of high school. Not to mention you have to be 16 to even drop out ; with your parents consent of coarse. So I think that 4 years your talking about is 2 because you cant drop out at the start of high school. You most likely have to stay until your a sophomore or freshman (if you get held back). So thats 2 years buddy.
