The music industry is governed by a bunch of idiots. Not sure what music they removed but had they left it and I (and hundreds of others) liked it I would have asked whoever posted the video who the music was by. I'd get an answer. I then buy the song – or perhaps the whole album. The artist of the song gets paid (as does the record company). Quite simple really. A missed opportunity. But then the whole old-school industry is one big missed opportunity. Pillocks.
If I found an old bonneville basketcase for sale I'd buy it and build a bike, but for the same price I'd buy any pre twin cam harley basketcase. It's all what you love.
@MrChutzpah2002 my first triumph was an America -- nice but really a mid level bike -- not real powerful with that 790 cc engine. Rode that bike for 5 years -- got a thunderbird last year -- I love it. So much more power / torque.
@guins99 America is 865cc....I feel it's powerful enough for me, but then I have never ridden a 1600cc engine bike, I am sure it would be lot more fun....I probably might buy one in few years...for now America rocks for me...
@MrChutzpah2002 the 2004 america came with a 790 cc engine .. I am pretty sure in 08 or 09 they gave the america the speedmaster engine -- little more juice -- i assume yours is newer than mine was?
@guins99 Yeah they are the same bikes just different front tires and little other stuff, but same engines and everything same. Thunderbird seems cool too but it's about $14000, and I don't see myself spending that much on a bike. America costed me $8000 all of it. Maybe when I am older and have no other responsibilities I might buy a bigger bike, but yeah I would love to have twice the engine size. How is the speed, pick and performance on your thunderbird.
I agree with deadflagbluesxxx & you certainly captured the spirit of biking. I'm from the UK & Triumph through & through but I have to admit both Harley & Triumph have pure soul. Best Chilli's album by the way.
Triumph is to Harley as Formula 1 is to NASCAR...both cool in their own right, just one attracts rednecks.

@jotacalvo that is the most accurate simple way of putting it -- very true dude.

If you like to pose, buy a Harley. If you want good handling, braking, and performance without extortionate rip off prices; buy a Triumph.

@iniakpmarc28 Triumph looks great too....but the only Triumph I like is America....many people stop to ask me where I bought my bike....

Riding a Harley is like having sex with your sister. It feels good until your friends see you doing it. That's why I ride a Triumph.
