If you actually bothered to study history you would see that the UK was safe from invasion from September 1940 onward, after the RAF won the Battle of Britain! Furthermore, making/using top equipment is what the UK has and does. India has had huge head-aches with producing domestic quality such as the Arjun, LCA. The fact is the Indian Army is teared with some of its forces with very modern equipment and much of their force with ancient equipement. India is not in the same league as the UK.
@good2goskee Unlike western powers, India's economy allows for massive military spending (even still, India's percentage of the GDP is tiny for defense). The Arjun Mk. II has seen 248 more orders and far excelled T-90 in trials. The LCA is nowhere near the Eurofighter Typhoon, but is comparable to an older F-16 and would make a great support fighter.
The UK has all around quality and equipment, but in terms of sheer magnitude of defense procurements, India's quantity turns into quality.

I respect all countries but my opinion is the US. Their Air Force is unmatched, Army is huge and well trained (so is China's), Navy is very large and has the Navy SEALs, and the Marines have the toughest Basic Training. I know people say the US is crap because they think everyone is lazy in this country but military wise, they are at least the second most powerful. Again I respect the other countries but it's true.

If you actually bothered to study history you would see that the UK was safe from invasion from September 1940 onward, after the RAF won the Battle of Britain! From that point forward the UK was never an invasion target for the Germans. The US were required to supply the raw materials, weapons and manpower that would be needed to invade Europe. The US helped AS PART OF A TEAM to liberate occupied Europe!

My whole family lived through the war, some of my uncles died in the war. If you read the news, you'd understand India has been on a spending spree this past decade to upgrade its Military. Furthermore, making/using top equipment is what the UK has and does. India has had huge head-aches with producing domestic quality such as the Arjun, LCA. @good2goskee Unlike western powers, India's economy allows for massive military spending (even still, India's percentage of the GDP is tiny for defense). The Arjun Mk. II has seen 248 more orders and far excelled T-90 in trials. The LCA is nowhere near the Eurofighter Typhoon, but is comparable to an older F-16 and would make a great support fighter.
The UK has all around quality and equipment, but in terms of sheer magnitude of defense procurements, India's quantity turns into quality.

To be fair, even if Arjun far outperformed the T-90, they are different classes of tanks.At least India hasn't followed China's path of modifying and mass producing foreign equipment. The Arjun and LCA were effort from the ground up under international sanctions.

Why Germany wouldn't induct Arjun instead of Leos? Same reason the US doesn't induct Israel's Merkhava. Different requirements.

@vladixpp russia will never be able to beat the us and the us will never be able to beat russia and russia is not the reason the us won world war 2 if you know anything then you would know that the us supplied the soviet union with equipment. needed to help win. and the us also has nukes and if russia nuked the us then the us would nuke russia.

@tisconhah Afghanistan is a terrorist country Russia is not afraid of them but Russia is not dumb the Russians were talking with the us and the us said lets just bomb Afghanistan and Russia said we are not doing it because they know that Afghan with group with others country's and aim to Russia and they don't want that so they just backed out which is better than just getting attacked for someones else idea its like if people blame you for something you didn't do it isn't fair

I respect all countries but my opinion is the US. Their Air Force is unmatched, Army is huge and well trained (so is China's), Navy is very large and has the Navy SEALs, and the Marines have the toughest Basic Training. I know people say the US is crap because they think everyone is lazy in this country but military wise, they are at least the second most powerful. Again I respect the other countries but it's true.

@stanisauditore I understand what you are saying but I think that in the end of the history is what determines the future, my country is not in decline other countries are on the increase, the UK is one of the biggest spenders in the world are you suggesting to me that my country is on the decline hardy my country is powerful, it is not as powerful as it once was but i wouldn't dare go to war with Britain it will always end badly for you and no one can take that away from us. :)

@stanisauditore I'm not going to tell you every single war that Britain has been in for a 150 years i do know them thank you, but what I am trying to say is that the army that conquered the world fought two world wars, and is fighting in Afghanistan along side are brothers the Americans? On history alone it deserves to up further that's all i'm saying.

@StanisAuditore China might become an economic super-power, it might not. It ios going to face a massive crush through empowerment of its middle class soon.
Russia, well, nobody can tell the future, but if it keeps the way it is going now, it will be a third world country. The Russian economy is based on resource export, thats it. Its manufacturing and R&D base is tiny and shrinking, and its best educated population continues to emmigrate. Super power? Its lucky if it qwill be a power at all.
