If you look at Gilles he is on his tiptoes a lot, whereas Derek and Ty are not. Gilles dance looks fine but for those with a trained eye, he does not have correct footwork for this type of dance.
Yes, Gilles didn't have great footwork and Kim made a barely noticable error - but what counted at the end of the day was that as team they were awesome, Derek's choreography was excellent as usual and they were HOT. And, they won. ;-)
HeidiHo1013 - I totally agree that team Tango was awesome! I loved the routine. Someone had said that they did not understand Len's comments on Gilles footwork and I was just seeking to explain that in my previous comment. I love all 3 - Gilles, Lil Kim, and Ty and think they did a GREAT job!
Is this show rigged? It seems that Len is always more critical of the best couple out there. It happens every year. I hate him and I wish that he was not a judge.
This is just my humble opinion and I see that some people disagree with me but, I think that when there is one person ahead of the pack Len or ABC make it Len's job to discredit that one good dancer. Len is a used up old has been and he has no use for new music or new dances. He's either brown nosing ABC or he's just and ass hole. I still hate him but you can like him if you like. It's a free country. : )

He's the one judge that everyone wants to impress and when they do it's a huge accomplishment. I think without him we'd lose a lof of the integrity of the dances. So even though I think he's a pain in the ass, I think it works. But that's just my humble opinion.
To HATE someone you have never met based on your assumptions on their motivation over a basically a TV game show is pathetically immature. Why don't you watch wrestling where you know for sure it is rigged.

and was still awarded a ten? I know it was a team effort, but her blunder made the entire performance less than 10. something is up with Bruno and the tens. A 10 was not deserved.
