Peace starts in the heart. That is what Jesus dealt with. You cannot put two people in the same room that don't like each other and make them kiss and make up. They have to decide in their hearts to forgive one another.  Jesus, died for our sin so that we would have the peace in our hearts, knowing that we are accepted by God and do not need approval from man.
