I like birds, but the constant shreiking and chatter drives me crazy...I've read the Pionus is a quieter bird as a rule...can someone reply to this and tell me about their Pionus experiences?
"I've read the Pionus is a quieter bird as a rule." - Someone forgot to tell Mel that he's supposed to be a quiet bird. I guess he's quiet compared to a large Macaw or something....

my BH pionus is extremely quiet, only gives a few calls at dusk, maybe 3 times a week.
