He wrote all the good music. Anyone know if Alex (Dirk Lance) is in a new band? My bet is Incubus fans circa 1997 would dig anything that guy touched.
S.C.I.E.N.C.E was their best, most innovative album. Make Yourself was a great follow up but they started selling out beginning w/ Morning View (although still a decent album). i stopped listening to them after they came out w/ that crow in a murder album or whatever it's called. totally different band now

Incubus really never fulfilled their potential and they've only regressed since S.C.I.E.N.C.E. There's some bits and pieces in their catalogue since that they can be proud of but just not enough. I don't care how "inventive" or "innovative" Einziger thinks the effects he or Kilmore uses are, Incubus are just a pretty banal shadow of their (very) young selves.

I like reading these responses that say old school. Im starting to feel old. Yeah the crap they played on the radio did not do them justice. Incubus has evolved to a softer style of music. I guess it is called growing up. After the bass player left so did the hardcore songs like this. You wonder if he played a pretty big role in making these songs.

Incubus has bad ass songs on all of their albums. But when considering lyrics and subject matter, Science is the best hands down.

i have some newer Incubus stuff and all I liked was songs like Circles....didnt know they jammed out hard like this. Gonna have to pick this album up

Dude, Science and Make Yourself are AWESOME albums, pick them both up. A Crow Left of the Murder is very different but arguably better than Make Yourself...I dunno, just buy them all!

Also I saw them at a small bar in Dallas with about 200 others. It was pretty darn cool. Its been I dont know 10 or more years ago.

I like reading these responses that say old school. Im starting to feel old. Yeah the crap they played on the radio did not do them justice. Incubus has evolved to a softer style of music. I guess it is called growing up. After the bass player left so did the hardcore songs like this. You wonder if he played a pretty big role in making these songs.
