Okay. I know you are a big fan of the M50's, but, I just like the look of these and I tried them in a store and they sounded very good but the music they were using to demonstrate them was very bassy. For listening to, say, Coldplay - would these still be suitable? If not, what do you recommend?

these are some of the most ripped off headphones on the market. if you think that they are properly durable then YOU are doing something wrong. you should really re-consider your move on the editing front; these give AWFULL quality and only sound "impressive" because of the massively boosted bass. for a similar amount, go for the senheisere hd25 ii: MUCH better deal and quality. these headphones should cost half the price.

In my opinion I would NEVER waste money on these headphones, or any beats. Because all your doing is paying for the brand name and and how they look, not the great quality of music that you get with all the other proper headphones, eg. Audio-Technica ATH-M50, <-- The best headphones under 200$. Great sound quality and bass, VERY comfortable, and extreme isolation, best headphones out, and for the price... A bargain! :)

@Cewli0 dudee.. the headphones aren't specific made for apple. Anyway i own both a ipod and a zune HD and i do really really prefer the zune HD its way better in music,video and radio quality. But the ipod is better overall because it has so many features that a mp3/mp4 doesn't need so i prefer a zune HD. But if you want to play apps and games and yaay i should pick a DS... :)

Hey, well I reaaaaaally want to buy these headphones. I'm going to be listening to music a LOT in public and in the car. So I primarily listen to metal and rock. I currently have $30 sony earbuds and listened to these, and I thought they sound great, but I hear a lot of people say these sound horrible.
