This is not gypsy song! It was written by Ukrainian poet in 1830's. Most of the so called gypsy songs are in fact Folk songs from eastern Europe, sung sometimes by gypsies on fairs, and therefore mistaken by westerners as original gypsy music.
From what I can hear the words say: "Dark eyes! Burning, passionate, wonderful eyes! How I love you, yet I fear you! Since first I saw you, I've had it bad. Not sad am I, nor crazy, but all God's gifts I'd give up for those ardent eyes. Your fires hide a darkness enticing, tormenting my soul, which they will burn!" - Sorry that's all I could get. But there's a website somewhere giving a faithful translation, and you can sing it along to the tune. When I can find it, I'll copy to you. OK?
@kfirlevi1 You're very welcome. I'll certainly send you the singable translation when I find it. I am very sorry about the loss of your brother. Yes, the "Brat'ja" (Brothers) song is very sad, but like all Russian folk songs, very beautiful, deep and soulful. I also love the Russian phonology, which lends itself beautifully to singing. May your little brother rest in peace with your love and blessings.
