Yes, we have Aldi here too and the queues are bad also but usually people q there because the food is alot cheaper (and mostly lower quality) than in places such as tesco, morrisons etc.

In a nutshell and unfortunately, the people of Britiain are 'Yes' people and we put up with this dire poor service and are actually paying them for it

Mind you, nobody should have to queues all the time in these places however much one pays

I hope the supermarkets one day are given the taste of the law
