i know the m14 is still used in the army i dont know about the marines, we use it as a long range marksman rifle, now i do like the 7.62 for knock down of a human, but trying to clear a room with a m14 would suck, thats where i like the m4 the m4 is great for urban style combat
@04CobraLover it depends on the unit thats using it the socom is a shortend barrel m14, the ones that my unit was using was the old school wooden stock m14
The AT4 is another example of waste, why would they get rid of the M72 LAW it was a bad idea as history will show because they brought it back for our troops! yes it's being used now! The AT4 is big it has to be slung, it's like walking around with skis on your back! I also hate the current Diesel GM engines and lack of overdrives in the TH400 H1's, and they overheat bump down to 2nd gear! Nice is your in a hurry, like if it was war! I think a modern M3 Half Track would work great as well.
The M247 if i'm not mistaken was an anti aircraft tracked platform, I just seen an engine from one on Ebay a month ago?
