This is the most awesome song in the movie, even after all these years. Today happens to be one of the rare days I watched the movie again. It continues to be as awesome as ever. I also love the song Harlem Blues and had the opportunity to meet Cynda Williams when she performed in one of my brother's plays. AWESOME!

When I hear this tune it always reminds me when Bleek Gilliam return to the stage to play the trumpet again & he couldn't play no more in that Movie Mo Better Blues. Its was so sad!
@smutul No Denzel did not really plan any of the music in Mo Better. I am not sure exactly who did. But he didnt. He only learn who to "play" the trumpet only to get the finger movements right.
Dim candle light aglowed on the tables of Dreamers in the night. High heels dancing on the tip toes ever so playfully, swaying hips, moving in chairs, with eyes that do stare on the player so mellow, playin' his piece, while doin' his thing, with his wind, and lips, and hands and wings......Yeah.......Nice post.
I love all of the Spike Lee Joints..but this for me is a must have...if you truly love jazz music... you must own a copy of this film....great movie..nice song also
Do you know the name of the song at the very end of the movie?? The part at the end where the lives are moving fast and indigo and bleek get married and she has the baby and so on... (is it by John Coltrane??) It's not on the soundtrack...
Great video... and it is called again never. I had a hard time finding it because you put the wrong title, but I still found it so thanks alot for putting the video up. Great job.
weird, i dont know how it happened because i ripped and rewrote it from the original ost, but checked again and.... it was like WOW [sic!] - actually is as you say, damn u 're right guys so i fixed and u can be sure i still dont really know how it happened [i think that old title could be my own interpretation, or something in that kind of ;p].
Preciate the memories. I learned how to play every solo on this album on my alto. Started learning it right after the movie came out. I was 12 and practiced an unnatural amount of hours onnit. Played the tape until it popped.
Terrance played every song except the fast one while sipike is gettin his ass kicked. Wynton played that one. Wynton told me himself no joke

fantastic song, first heard it on Donald Harrison's album- he plays alto on this track,
I think Bill Lee is totally underestimated as a composer and musician.
I would have like to hear more from him.
