  • I just applaud this guy for the simple fact that he is still sane after seeing and going through all of that horrific violence of murder and rape of people.

  • thats presenter is a total knob latif has seen and done more than u have ever done in your silver spooned educated life latif u r an inspiration

  • Just watched the devils double great film.

  • just saw the movie, bit late I know, and I knew stuff like this happend, but....oh my god, this guy is a hero! +5

  • I'm a guy who moved from Iraq in 2004 because of the war in Iraq.

Mr.latif Yahia, When I watched The Devil's Double, I thought more about you and I started reading your website and watch your channel. But I wondered if everything was true in the movie? Did you borrow udays cars. How knew life for you even if you had the finest cars and Levade in a luxurious house and you got everything you wanted. did you try to kill you someday? live your sisters in iraq still alive?

  • Latif, why are there articles out saying you were not Uday's body guard? I believe you 110%, but I'm just not sure why anyone would question you're credibility. Either way, your story and life are extremely interesting.

  • Yes, devils double brought me here. That was an amazing story.

like you said, You're a good man, living in a bad world.

I'm glad to see the real you on this clip.

  • @LatifYahiaChannelAlso, in the film it shows you shooting Uday at the end, was that put in for effect or did that actually happen?

If so, well, kudos to you :D

  • @LatifYahiaChannel I'd just like to say I am a big fan of the film and I was desperate to see it for months and wasn't disaPpointed. Was absolutely unbelievable and definetley in my top 10 films.

You had to go through horrors that no man should go through with those psychopaths. How realistic was the film to you? I heard somewhere that they only put a fraction of what actually happened to you in the film because there were that many horrible things they couldnt put them all in.

  • I find it so annoying to read negative things about Mr. Latif Yahia on wiki and other websites. About that he would be lying and that a lot of people close to saddam never heard of him. I think it's just the media who is trying to make him look bad. Don't believe it!

  • This Guys Going To Die.

  • Dear Latif Yahia

We all as Iraqi's have shared a nightmare with Saddam & his family, My grandfather was Saddam's Chief who cooked for Saddam, He was injected with bacteria and died from Cancer

My father was forced to fight against Kuwait, I feel your pain and thank god all the nightmare is over.

  • @PureHardAssyrian Saddam was an evil prick and his hanging was too soft, he should have been tortured to death by some of his victims famillies.

I never agree with war but removing Saddam was great for Iraq, he had to go and hopefully Iraq recovers and becomes a great country, at the very least more prosperous than the road to ruin Saddam was taking it on.

  • Just finished watching the film, if any of the films horrific scenes actually occured for real then you, my friend, have a gigantic pair of balls.

  • Dear Dr Yahia, I have followed your story for many years as I have Iraqi friends who were subjected to much brutality under Saddam Hussein...I find many people trying to discredit you in their stories,,,,I am irish and I have to say I was so happy you fought for your righ irish citizenship..what is your opionion on Mr al Maliki carrying out a mandate for Iraqi people...when there are suicide bombs daily and clearly no internal security for citizens?

  • this interviewer is a complete prick! what a provocature of Anger and frustration im not even Latif Yahaya and i wann kick his head in!!!!

Latif story is insane and to see everything he went through i hope Allah gives him peace of mind and freedom from the past.God Bless u my friend

  • Mr Yahia...you truly are a great human being. You really are a very good inspiration to the people around the globe.May Allah bless you and keep you and your family safe from the evil side of the world.

  • why is this idiot interviewer putting him on trial. the man has been through enough.

  • Mr. Latif Yahia, i want to know if the movie the devils double reflected your life and the life of uday??? is the movie telling the truth?

  • Main stream media is promoting lies all the time and now they are calling you a liar for having the courage to survive and tell the truth. Latif, they indirectly work for the secret services.

I have no doubt that the CIA tried to recruit you and send you back to Irak as the head of one of their cells. There is not a CIA school, they simply offer positions to those they need - and they needed you. I've seen how they work, it's definitely their style.

Please, spread peace and love to all!

  • What an incredible story!! I saw the movie and did a lot of reading on your story and have truly been inspired. I am a survivor myself of a much different situation and love reading about the triumphs of others, yours is definitely one of those stories I will never forget.

I hope you and your family live a long happy life. Happy New Year for Sunny Southern California!

Paul A. Pervano, Sr. (DJ RuDe)

  • It's real easy to say stuff after the whole family is wiped out. And it's true, Iraq did need saddam, he gave order to a bunch of militia animals. People don't understand the Muslims out there and how bad theyre

  • I doubt he's as innocent as he says he is. It

  • I just saw the movie. It was incredible!!! I can't believe more people didn't go to see it. It's such a great movie!

  • Thumbs up if your here because you just finished watching The Devils Double...!???

  • @786empowering What an incredible movie!

  • Thank you for sharing your story with the world. Very inspiring indeed.

  • jaz finish watching the movie "Devil's Double" and I got so intrigue with the brutality of Uday, so I ended up here. The interviewer is trying to get Mr. Latif angry with that qoute " I hit my wife" LAtif denied it, and maybe there's truth or lie on it, especially the media sometimes put words into our mouth. It's getting interesting, i'm off to part 2 of the interview.

  • The most bravest man ever!!! what horrible things he must of seen! and that interviewer was getting on my nerves "I quote" bla bla, shut up, and respect this man! Im glad you got out and hope that you are happy!

  • I am not politically aware of who is uday, all i know is that iraq is now free from saddams hand. After watching the movie i was moved and inspired by your story... Im looking forward in buying the book... Salaam and im hoping that for your good health so you can spread your stories to other people and nation that are control by sick dictators...

  • Any way to find out what the interviewer says to Yahia after the interview is done? (When the music starts and the camera begins to fade out)

  • Honestly im glad we have people like you that have beautifull stories to tell the world may god bless you

  • I just saw the movie....was shocked too see saddam's family how evil were they....!!!!And thumps up for Mr Latif Yahia!

  • Thank you for your tale . If not for you telling your experience the world and the future would be blinded to the truth .

  • WOW! i just watched your movie and i dont even know what to say. You are and amazing man Mr. Latif Yahia. You are so brave and honorable and your story is so very impressive. Best wishes to you and yours sir.

  • i just finished watching this movie,i understand what you had to do in order to stay alive. And i admire your father for his sacrifice for you.I dont know whether you shot people to stay alive and to keep your family alive.Thank you for telling an awesome real story and MAYBE MAYBE the world would understand.

  • i bet he is a cia agent

  • A friend of mine recomended The Devil's Double to be a very good movie. After seeing it i must admit, i disagree. It's not a good movie, it's maybe the best movie i've seen in years. It's an impresive story, first i couldn't believe is based on real facts. I am ashamed to admit that i didn't know a thing about Uday and his story untill now. You are an example of strenght and dignity. Congratulations for everything you have done! I can't wait to read the book. All the best wishes

  • @adrianal2010 Thank you. I am happy to hear that you more than enjoyed the movie, the book is more accurate and of course more informative. The movie is after all a movie.

    Best regards,

    Latif Yahia

  • Hello Mr. Latif Yahia, I just wanted to say your story is incredible. I am happy for you that the movie has introduced you story to a wider audience, including myself. Your book will be the first one I probably get.

Also I wanted to say, that no matter where in the world someone is that hears you story, no matter their views on Iraq, there is no doubt they will think you story is incredible, and know that you are an incredible human being

God Bless you Mr. Latif Yahia

  • @Superottowa Thank you so much. My best regards to you and yours.

    Latif Yahia

  • @LatifYahiaChannel Mr. Yahia, how come your book "the Devil's Double" is out of stock?! I can't even find it on Amazon.

  • @Rayoush08 Same here. After watching the film I really want to read the book and can't find it anywhere?? What an incredible story.

  • Such a fascinating story. I will be sure to read the book as well. It is great to see you are safe and doing well. My best wishes to you Mr. Yahia

  • The interviewer says: but you jus...... Then he was struck down by Udays temper... That is what I like to think.

  • @prathammajmudar stronggly agree with you . absoluely unbelieveable . sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get where you need to be but you can only get there as long as you truly believe you can and dont forget who you are . and you didnt . your a strong man latif ! goodluck on life on every aspect , its well desreved.

    Andrew Rodgers

  • stupid interviewer is disrespectfull

  • i dont like the interviewer .. what the hell is wrong with you trying to convince you what you said! You know better that you did not hit your wife. lol.

  • @prathammajmudar well said my friend ... those are the arab leaders that rule us .. this is the true dictatorship .. we will be free ..

  • N.P.H?? IS THAT YOU

  • you are a really great man Mr. Yahia...thank you for being an inspiration for me and so many others, i'm sure...i wish you all the best, and never forget that you are not alone in you're fight for justice...me and many others are right behind you...

    best wishes, Bancescu-Marza Eugen, M.D.

  • @emanuelle86 My dear friend, thank you so much for your comment. I thankfully know that I am not alone. With your support and the support of like-minded people we have the power.

In the words of the great Muhatmar Ghandi

    "FIRST They Ignore You,

    Then They Laugh at You,

    Then They Fight You,

    THEN YOU WIN "

    Best regards,

    Latif Yahia

  • hi,does your book "black hole" also come to germany? I never heard of it and dont find much about it in german ..i hope the story about how the CIA treated you will be known here soon...

  • السلام عليكم

قصتك مؤثرة جدا و الله يوفقك في حياتك ان شاء الله

  • @karmawi01 الله يحفظكم

  • Mr. Latif,

your's is the most courageous and hard hitting story i've ever come across. i read a lot about what happened to you in the 80's and 90's. also saw the movie. you are the man! anyone else in your place would have given up. you are an INSPIRATION sir. just one question, is it really Latif Yahia that i am writing to?

  • How much of "The Devils Double" is fictional and reality,

Whilst I have looked up a bit of what happened to you, I can tell 70-80% is based on what happened but like anything Hollywood does when doing true stories, they always add extra things or alter reality to make more entertaining for the audience to watch / follow.

How much do you feel is based on reality and was it you who made the attempt to assassinate Uday as from what I have read he survived the car attack depicted in the movie

  • What an amazing movie and story.

I am so ashamed things like this happen in our world.

I'm glad you made it out okay.

  • The movie caused me so much distress, knowing evil like Uday was allowed to live in this world, I have no hope left, all the people that were killed, raped and tortured. I wish the world to end with all it's pain and suffering.

  • theres more to this story than what your telling us...

  • Dear Mr. Yahia,

May all the people Uday brutally killed and all the INNOCENT people that Bush brutally killed also rest in peace. And may you live a great life! Real warhero's deserve that you know.

    Love

  • dear mr latif, i just saw the movie and was just amazed to see the courage and self righteousness not only of you but also of your father, the scene when he tells you that "son tell this evil son of..... to go to hell" was of a true brave heart, i cannot imagine what you must have gone through once the phone was disconnected. i congratulate you for your bravery and courage to stand against such an evil and tyrant man.

  • @LatifYahiaChannel I've watched the movie. Thank you for showing the world what courage really is. I do wish the best for you and your family. More men like you are needed in this lost world. So much anger and so much hate in only one man...it confuses me, how could you put up with such a monster for 4 years? You're a great man Latif...you're a great man. And you will be remembered by every single person who knows your story.

Best of luck. Respect from Portugal.

  • @prathammajmudar thank you, do not feel bad that you didn't know my story before, you know it now. I cannot say whether I was brave and courageous, I was only doing what I was raised to do, my upbringing was my strength. I thank God/Allah for my strength and my friends and family for their love and support. I thank you for your support and well wishes, everything gives me the energy and stamina to continue my fight for justice in this world.

    Best regards,

    Latif Yahia

  • @LatifYahiaChannel are really latif or just a fan or somthing

  • Watch the devils double and youll see what this poor man wentt through..

  • just watche the movie and it was incredible

  • Dear Latif,

After watching the movie, i started searching for more information about you and your life. I can say the movie was one of the best i've seen. You are a strong man resisting all that pain and evil. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger and you showed that to me and many other people. All i can say is that you have all my respect. God bless you and your family.

  • @HeavenForYourEars Dear friend, thank you very much for your message. What was shown in the movie was just my first steps towards freedom, and a fraction of what happened to me and others. I have spent the last twenty years in the West fighting for my rights and the rights of others, with the support and positive feedback of people like you and my family I remain strong.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Latif Yahia

  • @LatifYahiaChannel Thank you for responding to my message.I can say your movie is an inspiration for everybody around the world. You inspire hope for ppl who have a hard life.I can say the message you're transmitting is about freedom and the wish to live. After you climb a mountain and when you are on top of it, you will see a beautiful view. That's what freedom is about.I am glad to see you and your family are ok. You are not just an example, but a role model for everybody.I wish you luck further

  • God / Allah bless Mr. Latif Yahia

  • I think that Latif is a remarkable man and he deserves to live the rest of his live in peace. This program should not have interfered with any of Latif's personal life and that of his alleged violence with his partner. The man has been through hell and it show's great discipline that he can just sit there and answer so relaxed, if it was me my anger would have told the presenter to "stop quoting and listen to what I say". Anyway his story is my inspiration so thank you.

  • @TheCameronCairnduff thanks for your message Cameron. This interview is just an example of how the media can go after you, when they cannot find anything to use against you they delve into your personal life and even with that they are one-sided. But this is all part of life in the public eye and whether I like it or not there will always be someone willing to say whatever to make a quick buck. I have tackled this issue very clearly on my blog, I never wished to air it publicly but felt I had to

  • jus finished watching the movie

damn this guy is a real soldier to go through that shit

  • In the movie, at the end, you are the shooter that crippled Uday. Is this true?

  • I've also just seen the movie, and was amazed at how evil Uday really was. In accordance with the story, you displayed a great amount of courage again a very oppresive regime and character who walked where you walked constantly. You have integrity and moral principles that wouldn't allow you to fall under his corrupt wing. God bless you, and I hope for the best for you and your family :)

  • @hottyfromnotty thank you so much, I found then and I still find today that having morals is not the easiest thing in the world. When the powers that be are corrupt whether in Iraq or here in the West, they expect everyone else to be the same and when they find someone with morals and principals they can't or don't want to understand them. On 20th of November 2011, a few days from now I will be 20 years out of Iraq, I have no country to call home, I'm stateless, but I still have my principals

  • HI, I'm a 16 year old high school student and well I've just now got done watching the film

    The Devil's Double.

& all I have to say it amazes me how much evil this man had inside him, and the courage that you had going through it. I can't imagine the pain that you've gain from it.

Your a very, very brave and courageous man!

My dearest respects to you! & I wish you all the best!

  • @lSimplesidad My dear friend, thank your for your beautiful comment. I hope that the movie didn't cause you distress. Yes, Uday was an evil man, I cannot think of one good thing that he did while I had to know him. I wish you the best for your future.

    Peace and love,

    Latif Yahia

  • Hallo Mr.Yahia...I have deep respect for you.Enduring the hardships and being placed in a terrible situation demands courage.Thank you very much for sharing your story. You are a brave man!

I wish you all the best!

  • @freeballs7 Thank you friend, my best to you and yours.

    Latif Yahia

  • i saw the movie its so sad what happened to bride that touched me so much deeply sad, what a evil man he was its hard to beileve its trie story and this happens in today world

  • God Bless you Latif Yahia, im defently going to watch the movie

  • DEAR MR LATIFF YAHIA,JUST WANTED TO SAY UR A GREAT INSPERATION,YOUR BOOK WAS AMAZING AS WELL AS THE MOVIE.BEST REGARDS TO YOU AND YOURS.

  • Just watched this movie and one thing that stuck out is that Latif Yahia is a man of substance and moral fibre and suffered heavily for it. A hero in other words.

  • just saw the movie .. really brave of you to defy uday and succeeding in the end .. one question, how accurate is the movie in terms of what actually happened ?

  • @GOLDSPECTRE77 Hi, thanks for the question, the movie is 60-70% accurate, the journey's were changed for example when I left Iraq I went to Vienna not Malta, my book the Devil's Double is being re-printed here is the site on facebook

    TheDevilsDoubleBook

    Best regards

  • @LatifYahiaChannel I figured as much. The film initially interested me because I'm from Malta and the bulk of the movie was filmed here .. but after watching the movie i was astonished by the story (especially since Uday wasn't mentioned as much as his father in the news and such) .. as i was watching the movie I couldn't believe the majority of it was a true story .. good luck on any of your endeavors after such a tale you deserve everything you may achieve, take care.

  • @LatifYahiaChannel yeah I figured that part out. May I ask one final question ? Was it you that organised the assassination attempt on Uday that left him crippled? I rather think it was just added to the movie for the drama but I'm asking out of curiosity. Good luck on your future endeavors Latif you deserve any success that comes your way!

  • haha if he didnt hit his wife then he didnt do it right? start discussion for that .u could see the pain in his eyes damn

  • Reach out and touch me! XD

  • Incredible story. I saw the movie recently, fantastically done. However it will never compete with the real life travesties that occurred. Best of luck to your future, Mr. Yahia.

  • @tincantina thank you so much my friend, best regards to you and yours.

  • Thank you, Latif for sharing your fascinating story. I grew up with a lot of Chaldeans here in Michigan who left Iraq because they were threatened and discriminated against for being Chaldean. I hope all is well, and I intend to learn more about your story.

  • @AppetiteDestruction Thank you so much, I wish you and your Chaldean friends the best for the future.

    Regards,

  • Mr Yahya, are you there???

  • hi every one.

  • just watched the movie there very good insight into it,the real son really was the devil pure evil

  • I'm so sorry this happened to you :(

  • latif u are a very attractive man, may Allah give u peace always :)

  • fucking cunt reporter... but its right here you said you hit your wife... the fucking douche bag believes everything the media says...typical brain washed cunt reporter

  • @dagdagdag

Shut up bitch usa usa usa the greatest and most powerful country in the world.

  • there will come a day that united stated will pay a heavy price to what they have done to Iraq, vietnam, japan, afganistan, iran, korea etc.

  • Dear Latif, thanks for your kind reply...I agree with your views. How do you see the political landscape unfold over the next 10 years for Iraq? It seems a lot of the rebuilding of essential infrastructure is incomplete.. and the eminent Dr Helen Caldicotts assessment of the effects Uranium on the ordinary people of fallujiah is nothing short of Armageddonesque....truly horrific...80% of babies born have horrendous defects,,,,are people aware olf this? ...

  • Ive seen that MovieThe Devils Double. that man Uday Hussein is a Evil Man. he got away with Rape Murder and lots of Torture and I dont think God or Allah can forgive of what he did

  • dear Latif Yahia, i was so moved by this interview, and i can feel all your pain, i also agree with everything you say about Saddam, Saddam has been demonised on purposed, he was not aware of everything. Saddam loved his own people, despite all the dirt said about him, a lot of oil has been added to the fire... And you are SO right! Irak has become a shadow, Irak can only be ruled by someone like Saddam.....Many thanks. Wahida

  • Very excited for the movie. I hope all is going well for you, and look forward to the day that you can come to America. You have my support and friendship.

  • no one NEEDS a leader like Saddam Hussein. no one NEEDS to be in fear all the time. . Iraq needed a leader, not a murderer.

  • @SINOWred Yes, you are right! Iraq doesn't have one murderer now it has 1 Million, great leadership. They're doing a great job, corruption, militias, murder, death squads. Not one of those guys is an Iraqi ciitizen, they all hold Western passports which means that they have pledged their loyalty to other countries, Saddam didn't kill 1 million Iraqis in 35 years, since 2003 1 and a half million Iraqis have been killed, 5 million are refugee around the world and 3 million inside Iraq, great work!

  • @LatifYahiaChannel

    Well said.

What has happened to Iraq is nothing short of a tragedy, the sooner the U.S. pulls out, the sooner the Iraqis can reclaim their national sovereignty for themselves.

  • @SINOWred shut the fuck up you barbaric kuffar murderer scum

  • Thank you, your story is very intresting and I am very excited to see the movie. it come out tommorow (july 29th) in select theaters.

  • This is an amazing story and I look forward to the film.

  • @darknesstrinity Thank you, Best regards.

  • May God grant you peace dear sir.

  • @Sandylein55 Thank You, My Best regards.

  • @LatifYahiaChannel Your story is inspiring, i was just wondering - after everything you have been through, have you held on to your islamic faith or has your experiences with Uday made you abandon your religion?

  • Dear Latif, Salam

I am so moved by your story...I agree with Glenda, your courage in telling your story with such strength and dignity is an inspiration and is so important that the world knows what has happened to people in Iraq during this era. I have a dear friend who lived in Iraq under this regime and there are things he experienced that he could never even speak about...

I truly wish you well in your future you deserve peace and happiness in your life.

    God Bless you Francca

  • @MsFrancca Dear Francca, thank you for your kind message, I send your friend my regards. It was not easy to live in Iraq during that time but to my understanding it is even harder now. America has replaced Saddam with not one or two but many worse versions of him.

    Best regards.

  • Dear Mr Latif,

    Namaste to you

I came across your story when my sister told me about a new movie "The Devil's Double" whose trailer she said was very good..I am very sorry all this has happened to you..I wish you all the best in life & I hope people are more honest like you..You did nothing wrong & if people don't like you-ignore them..

Be strong & I hope life doesn't punish you anymore & take care of yourself..Thank you for telling us your story

  • @kanchanalatha79 Thank you very much, life is better to me. Although certain things in my life have not changed, I was punished in Iraq by the regime and also punished by the CIA in the West, these things continue but I have found happiness in the love of my family and friends.

    Best regards.

  • I hope that the Movie comes to Malaysia. I can't wait to see the movie & I loved the interview!!!

  • Hello Mr. Yahia,

    I hope you are fine.

...thank you for your incredible story...!!

... like someone commented before - I totally join in by saying 'it is moving' what occured into your life.

    Man, Definitely.

I have not seen the film though, but having read the book I guess it's not able to put all in pictures.

Having been to Iraq not too long ago, I really hope it will quickly find more stability in itself, and new ways of solving things out in peaceful ways.

    Greetings & Best wishes

  • @stinkyfirm Hi, thank you for your message and thoughts, I too had hope that Iraq would find a way to peace but I unfortunately don't believe that will be possible for another few decades. You are right so, much has happened that it can't all fit into 108 minutes! thank you for reading the book, Maybe you will be more interested in the documentary.

    Best regards.

  • Dear Mr Yahia, I came across your story very recently and I was very moved by it. Words cannot begin to describe how much i admire your strengh and courage in such a difficult situation. Thank you for being such an inspiration to us all...I wish you and your family all the happiness and serenity in the world. God bless you.

    Sincerely,

    Glenda.

PS: i can't wait to see the movie

  • @IrishCat04 Dear Glenda, thank you for your kind comment. As for being an inspiration, well, thank you again. I made it through day by day, I think that that is the most important thing, to take it day by day, everyone finds difficulty in their life, it all depends on how you deal with it, no matter how bad today is there is always tomorrow.

I am happy now thank you, I wish only the best for you and yours.

    Best regards,

    Latif Yahia

  • @LatifYahiaChannel i have a serious question about the movie the devil double

at the end of the movie you latif shot him in his dick before you ran away

is that accurate to the real story or did that di not happen

  • I'd like to see them interview Tarbash the Egyptian magician.

  • Incredible story, I'm glad that you came out of all that pain alive and well. I've read the book, looking forward to film.

  • How does it come that the words are not synchron to your lips?

  • @SnoopysOtherBird the audio is slightly out of sync

  • How does it come that the words are not synchron to your lips.

  • poor guy must have gone through hell

  • Latif has a cool voice

  • brave man, bullied into witnessing horrendous crimes carried out by his boss. brave in that he has spoke out and very honest.

  • we appreciate your honest & brave personality

We all Libyans support your situation

  • @MercyOfHumanKinds thank you very much for all my Brothers and Sisters in Libya.

  • mr. yahia i can not wait to see your movie i have seen all ur interviews, read all the reports, and did a report on odai once in the 10th grade. I hope all is well with you hope to meet you some day. josh

  • @stars1976 Hi Josh, thank you very much and best regards to you.

  • @LatifYahiaChannel mr.yahia thank you for responding to my comment you really made my day by doing that god bless you and ur family

  • Very interesting thank you for posting

  • Namaste Latif x

This interviewer? pfftt?! U went through hell!!

Like most if not all humanitarians/bodhisatvas you had to suffer 1st to "empathise" with others..clearly its your lifes purpose...I admire & respect ppl like u..you are amazing x

To the critics um..Im married to an Iraqi & he has seen stuff that no human being should have to see & showed me dvd,s from Saddams regime that turned my stomach ..it traumatised him ..so plz do not judge unless you have walked this road-Peace & 1 Love <3 x

  • @C11118 Namaste my friend, thank you for your comment, understanding is something we should all be and learn. I do not wish all to have my experiences not even for my enemy.

Best regards to you and your husband.

  • Stephen is always the best.... so cool handsome and professional!!!

    F

  • u seem like a really nice, good man. I hope ur doing good in life man :]

  • I actually feel bad for you, you should get asylum in the US at least, good luck in life

  • That TV host looks like an idiot!

  • I believe you are a good man but I also believe you hit your wife. There is no way you spent four years with a psycopathic guy like Uday and had nothing rub off on you.

  • @colinf94404. If this man had said no to Udday: Udday would torture him to death! He could not say no! He had to obey! Many, many cops, soldiers etc did not wanted to torture or do evil things, but if they did not follow orders they would be killed and their family would suffer to! If you lived in Iraq and Udday told you to do something you would lick his back you too! You had no other choice! or you would suffer very bad and then killed! (I am not english)

  • @colinf94404. I am pretty sure about what I was telling you, because I have read alot about Udday, and Udday was a Evil man! If you did not follow his orders, you would been killed!

  • I read both of your books and I respect you but I could never live under Uday. This motherfucker needed to die.

  • I would have put a bullet in that motherfuckers head. I agree Iraqi's are too dumb that they need a leader like saddam. But you should have put a bullet in that fucking psycopaths head. I know it is easy to say but that was your calling to the iraqi people. They needed you....

  • Your a brave man with a strong mentality :D I think you have managed to re-built yourself better than most people would... so, thanks for sharing, moving to the rest of the interview.. :D

  • الله يرحم ابو عداي

  • Oh, that was a very heavy period in your life, Latif! I will see the next part first.

  • A fascinating insight into the mind of one of the cruelest human beings ever.

Thank you, Latif, for sharing your story. It is amazing to me that you are here today to tell it. I can only imagine the fear.

  • it is really an intersting story...

how much its hard when u dun hv a chance to choise _

  • glad that bastard odai hussein did not kill you man, i am hopefully gonna get 2 of your books the devils double and i was saddam's son. I cant wait to read them.

  • he fought in the war with iran, and it was uday who troubles him? that is saying something about what a turd uday was

  • @LatifYahiaChannel Latif may u 4give me am not from irak but i dunno why i feel that uday had a little white part in his heart i think he is just a victim a bad person is a person who is normal d decide to hurt others. But its like uday had problems ... maybe i never saw bad ppl so i dont beleive so easy that such bad ppl exists. Good Luck

  • Even if Mr. Latif did hit his wife that is not your bussines stephen this is something between a man and his wife and it is privte between them not to say it in national tv :)

  • It is really nice and fantastic story, thanks for sharing it

  • Thank you Zakaria.

  • I hate Stephen Sacku, he doesn't do his research well. he asks the known and the obvious while many points were left unanswered like the book which has been baned and the info published in Latif's blog.

  • Very interesting!

  • When I was studying about Iraq and the Hussein regime I came across and I read his book "I was Saddam's Son". It was soooo interesting! He is blessed to have survived through such a nightmare to bring us a story that we might have never known about. I look forward to seeing "The journey of the Olive Tree" and his upcoming movie.

    Blessings to you!! :p
