  • In this scene when I am looking into Jesus Christ's eyes I feel that I almost rise from my own death! How could anyone feel anything but love for Jesus Christ?

  • poderoso JESUS mi redentor!!

    te amo JEHOVA !!

  • whats the name of the music in the beginning?

  • And my name is Talitha =D

  • In the Hebrew-Greek version, In Mark 5:41 , it's spelled 'taliqa koumi'. However, the pronounciation might be Talitha cumi.

  • whoever disliked this should be banned

  • This is the scene of the scenes from the movie of the movies! When the camera stop on the Robert Powell's eyes[or Jesus Christ eyes, if you want] and you can see the Divine fire there, a fire that does not burn, but purifies and heals our wounded souls ... it is just incredible touching! After I saw the movie[somewhere in the early 90's] everytime I am thinking at Jesus Christ, in fact I am thinking at the eyes and at the features of the english actor, Mr. Robert Powell!

  • AMAZING!

  • "Talitha, cumi" = "Little girl, rise" (Aramaic)

  • There are no words that can describe how wonderful our Saviour is!!

  • @Kael7777 AMEN AMEN AMEN..Praise be to him forever

  • TD JAKES SONG!!!! TALITHA TALITHA TALITHA CUMI.... DANZZLE ARISE ARISE...

  • Wish it was viewable on the iPhone though

  • Beautiful

  • my sisters name is talitha

  • When I first saw this movie, I thought the little girls name was Talithacumi. Why would He repeat "rise, little girl" twice; saying it once in Aramaic and then in English? I think the Director should of just left it as Talitha Cumi and skip the English part.

  • Even the words 'Talitha Cumi' are magical. Such an incredibly spiritual scene from Jesus of Nazareth. The presence and atmosphere created in this scene is brilliant. It brings into audiovisual understanding the raising of the Daughter of Jairus in the New Testament.

  • MENINA EU LHE ORDENO: LEVANTA-TE!!!

    Obrigada senhor!! obrigada!

  • Talitha cumi is Aramaic for, "Rise, female under the prayer shawl". Jesus covered her with the prayer shawl (or 'talit') before bringing her back to life.

    Talitha MacKenzie

  • Talitha is Aramaic for girl. Cumi is Aramaic for get up or rise. He might have put a prayer shawl on her, but it's not part of the imperative.

  • Awesome!

  • praise the Lord! Jesus Christ raises dead people and gets all the glory!!!

  • The words "talitha cumi" are Aramaic for

    "rise, little girl".

  • I believe he has the power to heal people

  • This is where my mom got my name from! She read it in Mark and really liked it...

    :0]

  • I love this, Talitha Cumi....even though it refers to a little girl being raised from the dead...I can relate to this because sometimes I feel spiritually dead, w/o motivation...so inspiring<3
