Botch made one of the best gigs I've ever seen, back in 2000, performing in front or no more then 50-60 people, on lazy Tuesday evening.. But, I wouldn't trade that little show for 100's of festivals and other gigs! :)
And 'C. Thomas Howell as the 'Soul Man'' is THE hardest and most revolutionary song ever!
If something even close to this song ever gets written: Please let me know!
@Sleepery22 The Fall of Troy is a great example of a band that was inspired by this band. They incorporated this sound with pop and blues, way more effects, and keyboards and operatic singing. They may not be as hard, but they come pretty close and their guitar parts and bass and drumlines are waaay more complex and mathematical.
one of the all time great heavy songs brave challenging and inspiring this is (a decade on) the future of heavy music its just a shame that a select few bands and musicians have heard we are the Romans and like botch have tried to restore some credibility to hardcore and metal. In a time where we are force fed soulless unimaginative garbage we need bands like this more than ever. (rip we are the romans)

@blackorpheliac1 Yes, I know them, but haven't seen them live yet though.
It's very good and interesting, but maybe slightly less hard then I'd prefer. ;)

@Sleepery22 i appreciate you considering them.
