Anyway..a good singer doesn't mean having a powerfull , high pitch or soulfull voice. It see's in the delivery of the song. Like Titi Dj may not have a good voice but she's a good singer.

so why are we going on and on about hady's win and how it isn't reflective of the region's talent? the entertainment industry is full of such ambiguities. it's time we face up to reality.

Why ppl still argue about Hady's talent and his winning in "Asian Idol'. He deserved to win the Title of 'ASIAN IDOL' unless if it is an 'ASIAN SINGING AWARD' than I should have agreed to you lightwadowice. In the American Idol 5, Taylor hicks may not have a good voice among the 11 finalist(just like Hady)but he can sing and delivered the song effectively. In terms of voice quality, Katherine has better vocal range but Taylor hicks is unique.

It is not nice to say that Hady is the weakest among the 6 contenders, the asian voters preferred him after voting their country's representative, therefore he is the No. 1 Asian Idol crystal clear - the WINNER. BIG CONGRATS HADY, AND BIGGER CONGRATS TO JAC, MAU, MIKE, ABHIJEET AND PV. For me u are all winners. Asia is proud to have u all.

in my opinion, hady's win will have a significant place in Idols' history as it was the first time arguably the weakest contestant among the lots win NOT bcos of his fans voting for him BUT his opponents' fans instead

but i dont think hady is an 'amateur singer' & am sure he will do well to represent asian music in the world stage (im an indonesian, b4 anyone says im being biased)

its just that he may not have been the most deserving winner
