@theatrejunkie09 my friend from hawaii says they generally arent a fan of tourists who try to ACT like natives. you may get called a haole which is kind of slang but if you avoid saying aloha at every opportunity, dont give the hang loose sign in all your pictures, and generally just dont be obnoxious, youre fine. theyre friendly people, i think just protective of their culture.
