I didn't hit them, I went over :). There was a motor cycle cop sitting in the metro and saw the whole thing. busted. Skate boarding on the mall "endangering the public" is no bueno lol.
Bill was/is a good guy. The only shop owner to actually give back to the scene both with his skating at Buena and with his summer contests and ramp jams. It was nice to have Go Skate and the employees were all good, but "The DAD" was a tool who contributed nothing to the scene but his own ego. Santa Cruz High class of 1989 graduated 10 of us at the most, only a few still riding. Some freedoms never die!
I bet half of these guys are dead, as are a good percentage of the 80's hardcore skate punx. I skate alone now which sucks but I skate for my bros that have fallen.
