Fortunately it appears that Mr Fredette is hitting his stride these past few games. Jimmer will be an all-star at the next level. Only the haters (which is most everybody) are doubting him. Why wouldn't he make it? He's quick with the ball and he can shoot? He's got about every NBA player beat already with that combo alone.

He's like a better built Stephen Curry with equally good shooting abilities and offensive prowess. But that defense is just lacking. And he looks kinda slow on his dribbles. There's heavy potential to be a great player if he improves tremendously on his D. If not, I see him as a bust.

Jimmer reminds of a Steve Nash with Derrick williams type body. This guy can shoot from anywhere...and to all those haters...he was named ncaa player of the year a reason...i just hope to see him in Suns jersey next season. Under Nash and Grant Hill, Jimmer could blossom into a star.

@pc80552 What? The only thing Jimmer has in common with nash are they are both white and can shoot. Thats it. Nash is one of the, if not the smartest player in basketball. His bball IQ is off the charts. He is a playmaking magician. I see Jimmer becoming a Eddie House or Toney Douglas.
On the player of the year, Walker deserved it.

@eafanboyssuck psh jimmer deserved the player of the year no doubt about it. walker was good but his team could survive when he was off the court, after davis left jimmer didnt sit at all during the games because he was that important to the team, i mean walker is good, and any other year probably would have gotten them, but jimmer deserved it, i have tons of respect for walker tho

@pc80552 Everybody saying jimmer is going to be great are wrong, jimmer was a great college player yes. but when he goes to the leauge he will fall under the same catagory as jj redick and jj was a a better college player than jimmer. so please stop thinking he will be great, he will be a bench player maybe one day a 7th or 8th man in the rotation.

@theory816 Steve nash was a scoring guard when he first got to the league. That's what Jimmer is gonna be. Nash would come in the game, score, then sit down for the rest of the game, which is just what Jimmer is gonna do for his first few years.

Jimmer Played in a zone that made that had him play very little man on man D, because BYU Couldn't afford to have him in foul trouble... He better than you think,.... If he can become a very good passer to open his game up he could have lots of success,....

The people saying Fredette is not good enough for the NBA have not seen him play. He is not just a sharpshooter; he has otherworldly scoring creativity -- and EVERY SINGLE TEAM HE PLAYED CONCOCTED A DEFENSE JUST FOR HIM. Despite that, he led the nation in scoring by a wide margin. His combine numbers were impressive overall -- especially strength and agility. The BYU coach purposely told him not to put too much effort in defense, so he didn't. Wherever he plays in the NBA, he'll be a star.
