Kind of going along with reason number 2...it's really helpful when you teach someone the material. Even if they already know it, explaining it step by step is a good way for it to stick to your brain. That's how I remembered every detail about photosynthesis haha

I found it usefull to blow off any studying whatsoever until the final night before an exam. Then freak out, drink too much coffee and stay up all night cramming. While doing this cursing myself for being such an asshole for doing it that way and swearing to never do it that way again. Then getting an A or B on the exam and doing it the same way on the next exam.

I just graduated from college. Don't forget to give people tips about not completely ditching having a social life in favor of all studying! I have some regrets about not taking advantage of a lot of social events and fun things that happened on campus because I was so focused on getting a 4.0.

We don't have midterms, our semester last three/four months and then we have final exams.

My #1 study tip: Make time units and study for an hour, then take a break for half an hour to an hour where you go on the internet, go grocery shopping, make dinner, clean or whatever and get back to studying for another hour.

This is great, although a note on academic calendars -- most schools have their final exams in early/mid December. I know OU and other Midwestern schools are on weird quarters, where you guys end before Thanksgiving, but most other schools on quarter have exams the first/second week of December, and semester schools are generally a week later than that. Midterms have been going on at semester schools for the past month at least, with the peak in mid-October.
