  • This is really sad.... I am a huge Watership Down fan and I cry EVERY time I see the sequence in the movie when this song is sung. The hopeful relief of the song in WD is that Hazel survives. Sadly so many lions crossed over in TLK fanfics, so this makes the song even sadder. I suddenly am a huge Kopa fan and got so horrified and choked up at how he bled to death! :,( Sob!

  • Nice. But lol, now that I think about it, Disney's lion deaths are somehow more toned down when compared to watership down...and Disney's movies are a bit more sugar-coated..but not bad, though.

Well, if you look at it that way, every thing in the world is stolen! Bambi was stolen from National Geographic! The Balto movie was stolen from the actual Balto! Oh god the thievery!

    If you think its ripped, fine. But let the people who like it, enjoy it without your narcissistic little comments.

  • Almost probably, but Bambi/Lion King, mostly in theme, not in content.

    Kimba the white lion on the other hand, was almost taken character by character and scene by scene.

    Though I still like Lion King for what it was able to achieve and my childhood memories I have with it.

    ...Even if Disney is screwy with giving credit where credit is due. X__x;;;
