I know we won't win any hearts and minds with .50 cal rounds flying through everyone's walls, but shit the 5.56 seems has the stopping power of a pellet gun compared to, hell compared to most anything. I know all the arguments there are: cheapness, recoil, and supply issues. but I am no soldier, what do our servicemen think of the 5.56?

@janicewatersteen I would much rather have 6.8SPC!!! When we were in A-stan 5.56 doesnt penetrate JACK... The mud huts (Qalats) and walls have been so built up throught the years that even 50Cal and AT-4 Rounds do little to them. everyone's experience is different...

Dude u gotta respond with suppressive fire regardless. U got fire back cause a high volume of fire will keep him concerned (the sniper) and I don't he is skilled. The pso scope on dragonuv is horrible. I've trained with it. Let's just say the convoy was traveling southbound, I think the sniper shot north to south in straight line. No angle.

@justinnjulie surpression is a great technique outside urban areas, but inside urban areas you risk hitting an unarmed civilian (yes people live there and fundamentalists are a minority) so if you hit a civilian the people will like you less and less and will start to hate you.
