Wow, amazing. I will be moving to the Keys this winter. I have never Scuba Dived, but it's something I definately want to get into. Do you feel vulnerable out there in any way, being a few miles from land? Just curious. It looks like an amazing time though, I can't wait to get started. Great vid!
Not true at all. Nurse sharks DO have hundreds of very sharp teeth, and are very capable of inflicting serious injuries to people. They are generally evasive, and don't attack when unprovoked, but they definitely can if you piss them off, or if you're very unlucky.
The calmer that you are and the more you depend on your equipment the more enjoyable and more safe it is. My only bad dive was this ship. For some reason even in the keys that day happened to be effing cold and I was on a medication and I puked topside and once underwater and almost in my mask. And my "buddy" simply jetted. It was still fun just relatively miserable without the relaxation factor. Next time I want to hit the hatch. I didn't want to do it without a buddy that day.
Actually, I think it came from diver exhaust when divers go into the ship. The ship broke in half later that year after a hurricane and the pocket was gone the next time I dove it. Then 1-2 years after that I dove the Eagle again and the pocket was back. Not as big, but definitely there. So, it had to be the bubbles from divers. Still proabably very stale and lots of CO2, so we didn't breath it. But I guess you could if you had to. Thanks for the note!
One tank! thats obserd! dont you have to stop for decompreshing?!?

The Duane is much better than the Eagle. The Speigel Grove would probably be the best!

actually that's a nurse shark. They won't attack you but if they do they just kinda suck on you.

that was fantastic, but you guys are crazy! LOL Be careful doing that please, looks VERY dangerous!

It really isn't dangerous as long as you follow your training and know your limits.
If you've never been diving, check out your nearest dive center. They'll get you all the information you need.

Nice vid. Used to live in Cleawater dove the Eagle many times. Not much current on day of your dive. Good job!

That was really good! I liked the air pocket bit, isn't that air as old as the day the ship went down? If so it can't taste to good...
