  • Big talent!

  • @TheJacksonMaster thanks

  • low...

  • Yeah someone needs to teach this one to SLOW DOWN. Good effort great job etc etc but what's the point in straining yourself to play it at full speed if you just end up playing something different altogether? I'm still listening as I write this comment and I swear I'm not listening to Caprice no. 5.

    That is all.

  • @KynosaurTheMighty You can listen to my new Caprice #5 in my channel. Stepan Grytsay, 15 years. Please watch and comment . Thank you. Greets. Stepan ^^

  • For a 10 year old.... IT'S AMAZING =D

imagine how good he's going to play in a few years D:

  • there is something wrong with this video, it's like digitally sped up after the arpeggios. you can totally see it in the jerkiness of his movements. it's already impressive without the unnecessary touch.

  • @wangman19 You can listen to my new Caprice #5 in my channel. Stepan Grytsay, 15 years.

    Thank you :)

  • stop ti, basta! lo hace terrible, first slowly...

  • GENIAL!

  • i love how crabby old fellas love to pick on the faults of a 10 year old kid who is obviously exceptionally talented

    depressing

either way, awesome :) although i assume you are 14+ now, hmm

  • Wow. That'seven better than all those fast ones :)

  • intonation in the beginning was great, wow.

i only disagree with your bow hand pinky in the arpeggios

  • wow... just wow... you are great haha

  • Vitajy Stepane ;)

dyzhe klasno vukonav. Ale we treba trenyvatusja osobluvo z 1:07, bo ne dyzhe zrozymilo de melodija i wo vidbyvajet'sja :)

  • good performance ;)

  • Oh my Lord, all of you guys posting are being so rude. He was TEN YEARS OLD. Try playing that at ten. Sheesh.

Comparing him to adults is ridiculous.

  • Morì!.. cuantos años tiene este niño!... a mi me costo un monton aprenderme eso!... & yo ya tenia doce años!

  • Liked Schlomo's version better.

  • @deadithink How old is Schlomo on this vid, again?

  • @Gatchan2 Excuse me, but I don't really understand what you are asking.

  • @deadithink It's not a serious question. I just wanted to state that Schlomo is certainly a genius, and also a grown up. This kid here was only 10 years old when the vid was created, so I think you have to take the circumstances into account. However gifted a child maybe, he will never equal or surpass an adult who was certainly equally gifted at the same age.

In other words, there would be a point in prefering Schlomo's version if you actually refer to a version of him playing at age 10. But...

  • @Gatchan2 I listen to music purely on a aural basis. I do not try to factor in the person's age, race, or gender, rather I listen to the music as it is. I didn't like this very much, and if I were the child, I would have waited on posting my performance until I had it exactly the way I wanted. My appreciation for the the tense fluency that this piece has when played by Schlomo far outweighs the fact that this kid is playing Paganini at age 10. (albiet badly) No hard feelings intended.

  • @deadithink Well, freedom of speech, I can't argue on that. I understand your opinion, but fail to agree that saying it on the boy's channel with such cold words would be the clever thing to do.

"This is very good . You are still a child without technique, yet . You have all the time in front of you[...] Keep practicing" (wontollawolf) and "if I were the child, I would have waited on posting my performance until I had it exactly the way I wanted" say more or less the same. But way differently.

  • @Gatchan2 That given, I highly doubt the child holds me in such high regard that he would be disappointed by my words.

  • @deadithink True. It all depends on each and every one's inner rules, and I shouldn't try to shove mine into you. But it's not a big deal in that case. Good day to you.

  • catastrophe!

  • @hildye Thank you for watch my videos. Greetings Stepan ^^

  • Very good ! You've touched the main notes in very good terms , others could not even think of them , This is very good . You are still a child without technique, yet . You have all the time in front of you , and your violine is close to you , too . You'll get soon the technique ( may be your own technique ) . Keep practicing , you are very good . Just trust me . Keep going on . You'll touch the top . You'll see ....

  • So let me get this straight. You're a Ukrainian kid, living in Argentina, playing Italian music? Entiendes el Espanol muy bien? You're AMAZING on the violin!

  • is this video fast forwarded?

  • @chinchilla641 no man dont worry ;)

  • @chinchilla641 how can it even be fast forwarded?

  • 10 year old prodigy lol x

  • @xcrimsonxstarsx Thanks for your comment. Greetings

    Stepan ^^

  • Puts us ordinary players to shame, 10 !! For god sake that's not right.

  • congratulations!!!

  • too messy! Dx

  • awesome!!!!!!!!

  • damn look at his face when the speed builds up, ha

  • He is amazing! Those who are asking him for more practice, shpuld remember that he is only 10! I was fucking speechless. When he's 20 he'll be the fucking violin god!!!

  • well.... nice try. :)

  • oh come on give him a break hes ten is fecking amazing

  • I recommend a change of recording location, it sounds like you're playing in a very long cave.

  • @TheDoctorParker Thank you for comment, but this is old video. Please watch & comment my recent videos. Greetings Stepan ^^

  • @Velioz hey velios i wonder how will i get ur recent videos , because i like ur playing

  • @TheDoctorParker Personaly I think that the location is very good. In my opinion sounds very good this effect.

  • @TheDoctorParker Are you a fucking idiot or what??! Better acoustic means better sound!

  • echo hurts the song the most

  • amigo salteño bravoo!!

     Greetings Stepan ^^

  • @Velioz you have talent :)

    but you need good teacher

  • Avrai un grande futuro. Bravo.

  • para tu edad esta super exelente

  • Bravo!!!!!!!!

  • Great!

  • amazing!

  • Yeah, let's indoctrinate this little guy with our fossilized, stagnant ideas about how to play these pieces. Just what the classical world needs more of the same!

  • Porque en argentina tenemos buenos musicos =)

    Suerte che, segui tocando (Y

  • ese niño va a kedar loko

  • Give him a break. He is 10 years old. To hit all those notes, at that speed. He is very very very talented. Probably, he should stick away from such hard pieces, or at least not perform it to audiences at least for a few years. But he is very very good nonetheless for his age.

  • it needs work, but when was the last time u saw a ten yr old play paganini :P

  • Although you still need a lot of work on that...

    THAT IS AWESOME.

  • saludos , yo tambien soy de argentina , de buenos aires

  • great potential boy !! some clean up but hey...this is a very difficult piece!

you are doing great !! Bravo !!!

  • the litlle genius...

    congrats guy...

    you is very very good...

    parabens...

    mtu bom...

    XD.,..

  • SHIT!!!!!!!

  • 0:52 that some epic finish

  • you have a lot to clean up on this song. practice slower.

  • Thanks for your comment...

    Stepan ^^

  • Holy crap. Talk about a confidence killer lol

This can do what took me half of my life to be able to do. Ahhh, better late than never I suppose :)

  • @Deanmonic1 Well, theres always a right way and a wrong way to do something or learn something. You can't just simply pick up a violin or cello in my case and practice a piece of music and get it right without a reason for why you improved. Theres always a method. If there was a piece of music that had 4beats per measure,BUT in that measure there were 8-24th notes, 6-16th notes, 2-8th notes& a dotted quarter note, I would count 8 or even 16 beats per measure depending.

  • wow!!!!

    amazing

    OMG......

  • Amazingly done, my friend! Very impressive!

  • wow..... this is phenomenal! incredible coordination and accuracy,

  • слушай, возьми лучше программу себе по плечу, а не понтуйся с тем чем пока не справляешься в силу возраста. потому что это ни к чему хорошему не приведёт и ничего не даст

  • You have BIG BIG TALENT !!!!

  • Amazing!!!

  • wonderful!!! You should be very proud!!!

  • thank you ... XD

  • is it jealousy that inspires so many negative comments?

  • Muito bom...

  • How beautifully played. Thank you. I hope you will go far.

  • I love the intonation.

  • you've got some born-with talents. i mean your huge hands.

  • nice job!!! how long have you been playing for????

  • GUITAR FTW, and uh i guess violin too

  • you have a lot to study....

  • @SlavikQ90 you play it then

  • a little too much echo to hear all the notes clearly. watch the video of perlman where he says "i know i played every note!" lol.

  • +1

    length

  • il bambino è molto bravo,ma a quell'età paganini o lo si fa bene, o è meglio che non ci si espone...ci sono tanti bambini prodigio stonati, ma anche tanti molto intonati.....

  • the age does not matter

  • bien, despues del principio todo es poco claro

  • something wrong with his left arm? it looks very strange...

  • i think its because he is short, so his arm comes to the neck at a weird angle.

  • just wait a 1 or 2 years....he almost win a tv show about talents here in argentina , with time he'll be great

  • just my opinion everyone doesn't like a certain song. and some people like a different song. but this is crazy!!

  • man you play it well. i don't really like paganini music cause its just a bunch of notes that are fast. like the part in the begining its going up and down. it doesn't sound that good. you play the song extremely well , but i don't like this song that paganini wrote.

  • maybe because oh i dont know,, IT WASNT A SONG. The 24 caprices were written as technique studies as can be seen in the first one which practices arpeggios and richochet bowing. It also demonstrates musical mastery to be able to play all of them as it was paganini's practice regimen.

  • ningun chinito chiquito me impresiona tanto como este, todo bien menos afinacion

  • his arms are so long ^^

  • Awesome... It's cool because they put him on a too-big-sized violin so that when he grows up, big jumps will seem like nothing.

  • wow!

  • yeh bravo

  • Wow! I can't wait to hear him as he matures! This is what's so great about youtube..we're watching history in progress.

  • our future virtuoso musicians are here on youtube i suddenly see a rise of great bands and solo artists but the stuff today is not at all musical

hopefully this kid will one day be famous

  • mierdaaaaaaaaaaaaa........ que bien toca el chico!!!

  • He is very good for his age. To play Paganini at 10 is good

  • To play Paganini like this at any age is good!

  • The kid is good, but his playing is sloppy, and he appears to be attaching no emotions to his playing. Clearly a demonstration of the fact 'Skill ins't enough'. I DID NOT SAY THAT HE IS A BAD PLAYER, for those who like to argue everything....

  • I totally agree with you.

  • well im a violinist and i think it was good for his age just a bit squeaky

  • lol, 10 years old and a bit squeaky. god....

  • I think at some point (perhaps 2:27) it gets imposible to listen to this interpretation...its just annoying. What I mean is that this kid is really virtuous, it is impressive, but the performance itself was...i wouldn't say bad...just too much for him, despite his virtuousism. there's no beauty on it. just effort... but it's just an opinion.

  • Do you love your violin?

    why that face so bad?

you must love your violin to play best but...

I wish be a violin virtuosus as you.

  • Whaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

    GREAT!!

  • wow...... impressive. i wanna give this kid a high five

  • uhm . . . . i play the violin and this sounds a lot better than i can do at this point in time. im 17 and he's 10.

no matter how bad it sounds, its better than what i can do, so Kudos to him.

  • You're not ready for Paganini yet in this video. Try again in a couple years.

Oh--and rate me down if you want, I DEFY you to prove that I'm wrong.

  • you're not wrong... you're evil. This kid may have made a questionable performance by adult standards, but it still takes a lot of effort and skill to play paganini. It's not fair to say this is bad, its far from perfect, but its VERY impressive, this boy has what it takes.

  • I'm not denying that he'll end up a fine violinist; it's easy to see that.

But right now his playing is a bit sloppy (well, either it's that or the reverb of the room), and his time would be better working on easier things in order to reach the level of skill required for this piece.

  • He didn't say it was bad.

  • is that the normal way to hold a bow? I mean, I really don't know, but it just looks different.

whatever floats your boat, still pretty cool.

I wouldn't call it amazing, but it was a noble attempt.

  • for all of you that are commenting and dont' play violin (which i'm assuming is most of you) this isn't impressive at all, infact it's pretty bad

  • yes you're right, i think all this people commenting and saying its so good don't play violin i think, it's terrible for my ears...

  • holy shit! jajajajajaa

ese niño si q esta cabron

  • wow great for only being 10!! keep practicing!! hope to see u be a virtuoso someday!

  • Bravissimo!!!!!

  • you should NEVER play something you can't play!

of course, he is playing amazing good (10 years old!) but i think you can't play a paganini caprice like this! never!

  • teng a mmiria

  • No se entiende nada!!!

  • amazing no one has anything on this kid fuckoff

  • oioioi...read ur music,correct note...please...

  • your hands are SO BIG!!!

  • his fingers are long. he is a musician!!

  • thats what I always say!

  • learning easy. make it is different but your good child

  • Wow. He's freaking good!

  • mdr

  • He is overblown, end of story. He has this look of. Why am i here? Am i 5? 10? 50? Am i playing this violin? The point is, the piece is out of his league

  • what the fuck are you babbling about

  • the kid playing the piece you dipshit

  • oh ok, that makes sense.

  • yes he plays it great for a 10 year old child. okay...there are very many wrong notes.

but i´m sure he would become a great violinist if he will. God bless you

  • yeah right.. he lacks technique, i bet you can't play it. remember he's 10 right, imagine to see him play in .. years..

  • The chineses lack maybe emotion sometimes but they have technique this kid don't even have technique
