i live in one of the most extreme environments, nwt canada, winter for 7 months a year, and fords are the only thing that lasts. 90% of vehicles here are fords, because they are the only things that will start at -45 degrees C. people here that buy imports and toyotas, ship them out as soon as the next barge season arrives. there isnt even pavement here, all we have is gravel, and imports cant handle it. we put trucks to the test here, our daily driving is offroad for many people.

I don't understand why there are so many import haters out there. Well, I can understand European and Korean, but Japanese cars are some of the best built out there, especially early to mid 90's Honda and Toyota. My mom has a 2006 and a 2002 ford, both of which are under 150,000 miles (actually the 2006 is under 90,000 miles) and are falling apart at the seams. I have a 91 Honda at 215,000 miles, and everything has held together remarkabley well over it's nearly 20 years of existance.

i live in one of the most extreme environments, nwt canada, winter for 7 months a year, and fords are the only thing that lasts. 90% of vehicles here are fords, because they are the only things that will start at -45 degrees C. people here that buy imports and toyotas, ship them out as soon as the next barge season arrives. there isnt even pavement here, all we have is gravel, and imports cant handle it. we put trucks to the test here, our daily driving is offroad for many people.

lmfao this video doesnt prove fords suck. i mean, i have a 95 powerstroke turbo diesel that has 300k miles and still tows my car to the track, but my track car is a dc2 integra absolutely all jdm. my last truck was a 97 chevy 1500 2wd which was never used for towing just as a driver, and that was great until it got stolen, and my first EVER truck was 88 toyota t100, which still sits at my friends dads shop and still is used for tire runs to their sister shop.

I don't understand why there are so many import haters out there. Well, I can understand European and Korean, but Japanese cars are some of the best built out there, especially early to mid 90's Honda and Toyota. My mom has a 2006 and a 2002 ford, both of which are under 150,000 miles (actually the 2006 is under 90,000 miles) and are falling apart at the seams. I have a 91 Honda at 215,000 miles, and everything has held together remarkabley well over it's nearly 20 years of existance.
