@MrGold262 It increases the drop rate of gold/purple items; however, it does nothing(or little to nothing) to the actual drop rate of globs of ectoplasm. I try out builds on hard mode so that if it works on hard mode then it'll work on normal mode.

@fireblastforce You can remove radiation field and replace it with the Kurzick or Luxon Mesmer skill. You can try that or if it doesn't work for full clear try doing only one segment of it which is the platform to the right of your spawn point.

how many ectos drop in 1 run?

@10Misterfister This varies run to run, but usually you get somewhere between 0-3 ectos for the first level and 0-3 ectos solely from the second level. Again, this varies every time and its pretty much how lucky you get. Note: There will be a lot of dry runs if you try to farm this, but don't let that get you down.

@hillysats Well, at the time this video was made you could do level 2 on HM. Now, I suggest you do this on NM and same with level 2. Just avoid the wurm on level 2 by sticking to the edges of the map.

And armor has +3 + 1 +12 Shadow form and everything else set on energy?

@MikeTheGMan Shadow Arts must be at a minimum of 15. After you get it to 15, you can either rune/insignia your armor with either energy runes/insignias or with the Blessed Insignia(+10 armor when enchanted).

i would use the asuran skill mind block over shadow refuge works much better for me and you pretty much never need to recast it

Nice Build but i've got a problem. I 'm not able to kill banished dream riders because they regenerate their health to fast. Is it wrong to kill them at the end?

@Bloodyts This doesn't work anymore on Hard Mode because ArenaNet made them have a natural health regeneration.

looks like you could easily replace shadow refuge and shroud of distress with some damage..youve got a pve-only slot available if you take out refuge

@TheAnonynja I usually replace Shadow Refuge with the Aura of Holy Might. Shroud of Distress gives an additional damage reduction and gives an emergency health regeneration and 75% block. Since this can only be done(within a reasonable time limit) in NM you can replace one of the enchantments with a damage skill(preferably one that does not use a lot of energy).

@gobig67 The newest "game balance" has nerfed this build. It is now even harder to do in HM, but still possible. Sliver armor has been nerfed even more and will not target the same target twice. Critical Agility is useful for its damage reduction.

@edisGW You can farm in UW. Its just to get to ToPK you need prophecies.

@edisGW UW is currently impossible to solo at a reasonable rate. The assassin perma-shadowform builds are not very efficient in the UW. Best you get a spirit spammer.

My shadowform armor set uses all radiant insignias, one superior shadow arts rune, and the rest runes of attunement. Energy = Win.

This is probably a completely useless post but anyways, it is good to take out the extra group on the far north, as the first group on the second level consists of 4 possible and easy to kill ecto droppers. Anyways, nice build

I can clear the first room easy but the second room i have trouble with when i come up againest the wurms.

I thought after SF was nurfed, it would take me a LONG time to get the ectos for chaos gloves....I am farming ALOT faster now with this build. Kingblackraven your a true god walking amongst men. Thanks again

It works best with a zealous scythe. Else if the weapon is zealous it could work but I haven't tested that yet. It will not work with staff or wand because you will not

have enough energy.
