holy shit man, that's an extreme setup for something that grows naturally. i understand the reason for overkill (being a grower who bought too much equipment himself) but i think it's worth saying..."holy shit."
@RoundhouseLion ah no, definitely not. it's wild to see what extreme measures must be taken in an environment like that. that is such a rad setup, thanks for taking the time to shoot the video and show it.
Unfortunately, I had to take this down because I was doing this with a partner and he decided he didn't want to do any work and told me to take it all down :-(
It was a Jewett Cameron portable shed/garage and I built the platform it is standing on. That is made out of wood and then the covering is vinyl flooring to make it easier to clean. Medium was going to be straw. Pasteurized by steam w heat relay to measure steam temp in a 55 gallon drum.
this is a nice setup were can i get one and what type of floor is that, it looks like a tent but the plastic will reflect all lite that comes in all so show us the mushroom growing and how do you make your medium, i see you have your grinder for straw how do you cook you straw need more good job

They don't necessarily grow naturally in south florida. they are supposed to fruit at 77 deg, give or take.
it's a tight setup, it's a shame it got taken down.

@nilesgermain Clearly, you've never had the pleasure of growing anywhere in FL where outdoor temps make growing something like that impossible.

@zimant78 not quite: how do you get rid of the gnats; specially in Fl?
