@CI5AgentSweeps I agree. Felt sorry for her when she broke down when seeing Black in the cell. Great twist at the end of this ep with awesome action and dazzling special FX. :D

@CI5AgentSweeps Yep, it looks that way. You can't bring 'em down that easily because they'll live to fight another day. It would probably need another race of aliens more powerful than them to defeat them. :)

@CI5AgentSweeps That's what I mean. That's what happened in a novel I've got called V - The Second Generation. It's a sequel to the original TV mini-series that ITV premiered in 1984. :)

@Banner1979 Yeah, if only there were more eps (sigh) She also looked good in black in Skin Deep except that wasn't REALLY her but you know, it was but it wasn't ah you know what I mean! I suppose any colour would suit her :) ;)

When i was reading a fair bit about OCS, I found out in that, Destiny and Scarlet were just good friends and there's an episode where they went to a dinner party together. I can remember an NCS ep where they went somewhere lavish with Colonel White. :)

@Banner1979 You have to admit, Destiny can be interpreted as "The Sweeney's favourite word for a woman" well think about it, she has a relationship with Black, he dies, 5 minutes later she's having it off with Scarlet!!! I mean, that is just NOT on!!

@CI5AgentSweeps Well, we don't know for sure whether she is actually having it off with Scarlet. Depends how you interpret it :). Hmm, I dunno, maybe Conrad had a dark side that she doesn't see in Paul. After all, he did want to make her his slave....

@Banner1979 Of course she is! It's so obviously obvious!! Well that bit about the slave was when he was a mysteron, but he was a bit trigger happy as a human, so yes, maybe he did have a dark side even before he was a mysteron :)

@CI5AgentSweeps I thought so. He even looked a bit like someone you wouldn't trust before he became a Mysteron. Then again, Scarlet had the body of a Mysteron but it was his mind that won Destiny over eventually.

@CI5AgentSweeps Maybe it was Destiny first and then Scarlet began having feelings for her. She seemed really elated in the pilot when he regained consciousness. I think from then on, she had a thing for him. :)

@CI5AgentSweeps A shame really. It really annoys me when they stop a series that is good and doing pretty well. This reminds me of the time someone left a comment about final Pros ep Spy Probe, saying that judging by how good it was, more episodes should have been made. Well at that point, Lew and Martin had had enough and Pros-type stories would surface again 8 years later in Saracen :). Still, NCS should have gone longer.

@CI5AgentSweeps I agree. It shouldn't have been treated the way it was, especially by ITV who put the 1st series episodes into the dreadful Ministry Of Mayhem and chopped each one into two halves. That was unacceptable and didn't impress Gerry Anderson one bit. :(
