From the video, the rooms and furnishings look almost exactly like those of the Statendam. I loved the Statendam, and I'll be on the Zaandam this summer.
Cruised on MS Zaandam Feb 5 - 15 2010 Fm San Diego To Cabo, Loretto, Guymas, Topolobambo (w/tour to Copper Canyon), Mazatalan, Puerto Vallarta, and back to San Diego. Best thing: Excellent staff and service. Ship beautiful inside, excellent food, lots of great entertainment. Each cruise is unique and this time it was a 99.9% all white passenger list of 70% older Americans, most from Midwest. Very laid back, almost comatose. Ship does have a very nice children's section for families.
You are sure to love that cruise! Everything about this ship is fabulous. I still consider the food some of the best I have ever eaten, the entertainment is a thrill, and there is no way any one could not have an amazing time on this cruise!
We were on this ship for an Alaskan cruise in August 2008 and had a great time. Seeing the Alaskan shoreline and wildlife from the many great locations on this ship was amazing.

im not bullshittin you i was on the ship when you took this lol! im from australia and me and my family went on this cruise. lol i did the whole fourmal nite thing haha but you know that nite how it was heaps rough waves coz of the open sea on that day. lol yeah that nite heaps big sea i leaned right over the front of the ship man ..crazzy lol waves coming up from 30m down to like 8m to your face is unbeliveable
This is great brings happy memory's to the my Zaandam cruise to Alaska back in 2005. My favorite place a/b was the big yellow chairs along side the windows in the Explorers lounges. Thanks fore sharing this video.

this ship looks to quiet for familes... i would def. recomend carnival cruise lines. And the ship i recomend is the Carnival Miracle.
