the definition of HOUSE as dance music and the creation of subgenre of houses is simply wrong, it's a popular error that has become popular culture but an error anyway. House is the mix between euro dance music and american music (70's funk/soul with black vocal, piano sounds and big cadences) It was called HOUSE because originated in USA and used for the first time elements of USA music, hence HOUSE because it was not european. People now call all dance music house but it's a mistake

And no, the name "house" originated in the club "warehouse", where house music has been played for the first time. It´s House music if there´s a 4/4 beat with snares at every 2nd quarternote, the so famous "four to the floor" beat. "Ryu" has this characteristics. What you´ve described is called "funky house" ;)

In fact real house music usually sample early 80's songs vocals.

It originated in Chicago from the funky and electro-disco scene.

Theres a big difference between sampling a part of a song and basically remaking what someone already did with a few alterations. In my mind SHM did well with a small portion of this song whereas Guetta used the entirety of what SHM did and barely changed it.
