Approximately three hundred African Americans are employed on the Union Pacific's work crews in 1865. All this angry, ugly back-and-forth rhetoric on blacks and whites. When the solution is so simple for blacks: STUDY AND FOLLOW THE "ASIAN AMERICAN PLAYBOOK." Because its subtitle is "How To Succeed in the America--Without Being White." Now, before you go off on this idea, consider how blacks can preserve moral power, PLUS optimize economic and intellectual capital as well. Blacks are eroding their own moral power by not developing their culture, when they have every opportunity right now.

They are "race hustlers," they keep blacks feeling like nothing is their fault, it's all white racism. They make their money as go-betweens, they ensure that white racism is alive and well--it's their business. If they were REAL leaders, they'd tell blacks the TRUTH--white racism is irrelevant today. Because they still would've gained equal rights, but most importantly, as a culture they would have developed the collective skills, education and group strength to succeed on a level playing field. Unfortunately, they gained rights, but not the capacity to compete. Hence "black rage," blame, chasing after racism as the explanation. Blacks should re-embrace Booker, along with conservative blacks like Shelby Steele.

But you and I both know that the per capita RATIO of black poverty, welfare, crime, illegitimacy/fatherless homes, arrest and incarceration, low education and IQ levels--black culture is a disaster, generally speaking. Too many inner cities, filled prisons. And blacks passionately and defiantly celebrate, advertise, and brag about these catastrophic cultural elements via gangsta lifestyle and rap.

@11mac11s I'm saying the obvious-- millions of blacks listen to Farrakhan, absorb his message, align much of their worldview with his. Farrakhan appearances have been one of the biggest draws for black Americans the past 25 years. Proof: whose message do YOU agree with more: Farrakhan's, or Shelby Steele's and Bill Cosby's? But of course, you're right. It's not Farrakhan's fault per se. Blacks take the wrong viewpoint on their own. He's just there to exploit it, rather than correct it.

Please return the favor and and answer me this: what are YOUR thoughts on all those catastrophic black cultural stats (poverty, crime, welfare, fatherless homes, low education, etc.)? Do you acknowledge that these are real problems? If so, why do they strongly persist, 50 years after Civil Rights? Why so much crime and welfare? Is it the fault of whites? How come blacks only blame society, and never say that the fault might lie with blacks?

It's because many blacks listen to Farrakhan and absorb his message, and it keeps blacks down by telling them to stay dependent--that their problems are not their fault, but whites' fault. Go live in Africa for a year-- and with the everyday blacks, NOT the whites). So "abandonment" is expressed in lawlessness, crime, destruction of the black family, and moral chaos. And I've traveled extensively through Africa TWICE--Egypt, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania. Even Zanzibar--center of East African slave trade. Have you ever been to Africa? I would LOVE to see you go live in black sub-Saharan Africa, with the blacks--NOT with the whites. You'll think twice about who the "devils" are.

You obviously are not at all familiar with the teachings of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. They want no KIND of dependence of black people on whites. Have you heard of Malcolm X, He was Farrakhan's mentor. They don't believe in dependence of whites, their philosophy is black nationalism. You don't know what you are talking about.

@DivinelyMochaDipped I read Malcolm's autobio at least 8x. I think "Brother Louis," as Malcolm called him, was in on Malcolm's murder. To this day, Farrakhan is very guarded discussing Malcolm. But Nation of Islam: why would blacks separate from whites by colluding with Muslims? They're the ones who bought blacks from African chiefs (or captured blacks themselves) and sold them to whites by the millions! Muslim Arabs were ruthless to blacks--castrated them to guard their harems, etc.

i'll say this, i'm not for organized religion. My faith is in God and Jesus but the organization is something I don't deal with because organization is man-made. I could easily flip the script and say black ppl shouldn't be Christians because Christianization was a method whites practiced in slave-making. at the end of the day, it's MAN fuckin' up religion. That doesn't make RELIGIOUS IDEOLOGY corrupt, so black ppl can be Muslims if they want.

(2) how racist the laws within that campaign are. That's what keeps a lot of poor people of color locked up and America's school system is a joke. Inner city schools where ppl of color live are NOT invested in the way middle/upper class schools are so that will bring about crappy results too. Read before u criticize. I understand that black people have a particular role as well, but so does the gov. And as long as they don't have it completely right, black people WILL speak against it. Be gone

@DivinelyMochaDipped It's not the lack of investment in inner city schools that's the problem. It's the cultural demographic they serve. That's always what it really comes down to. If you took all blacks students out of those inner city schools, replace completely with immigrant Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese kids. Same budgets. Would the schools be underperforming? Would the teachers have to cheat to make the scores? It's not about money. It's about the cultural values of the community.

All the public ever hears is when Sharpton and co. scream about the "pea of racism under twenty mattresses." And the War on Drugs--if the inner cities are infested with drugs, and it's a large part of its economic activity--both are true--how is this the white man's fault? Why don't blacks just stop engaging in it? Don't they have free will?
