if they played the game they'd know. you have the option in your ammo,laser desig/power pack-wait for freindly air,and light up the bad guys.

Yes FAC's or others bring in the designator to AO the pilot gets called in with grid ref and heading to hit lasered target,there is also Laser guided artilary,Cobras can lock onto lasers also.its your choice what you put in your kit,2main weapons pistol,laser designator,satchel charges,Javilins,stingers,m136­,203,flares ,smoke on and on.

uhm i dont wanna say noob but there is no need to have the AV8B in your group - the advanced way is to put over the town a trigger "Search and destroy"and change the size of the trigger to 100 or else (the trigger size can fit the whole map it doesnt matter as long the targets you mark are in the area - the AI AV8B will attack all laser marked targets

There is no Waypoint. Only a Group of a Soldier with a Lasermarker (me) and a AV8B Harrier. No Scripts or stupid Waypoints or whatsoever.

im using 2.3ghz e6550 c2d.. 2gb ram.. vista 32..9800gt.....runs awsome at med to high settings(cpu lets me down a little at max)......but runs very good.. try it on the demo before u buy like i am now:P

tbh mate, when you started to laze the targe the AI wouldnt of had time to compensate, as they were too close, if they were a few more hundred metres away then maybe, but this game is some awesome!

Its only for PC, at the Moment. Maybe there is a Launch for PS3 or XBOX360 later.

Das sieht schon ehr nach ner explosion aus und die fliege hat anscheinend nen anderes opfer gefunden ^^ ich sollte vieleicht mal nen video über fliegen bei arma 2 machen ^^ 5 sterne geb ich dir ^^ kannst ja wenn de lange weile hast meine videos von arma 2 angucken und bewerten ^^ zwar nicht so schön wie deine (auflösung) aber aber sie haben potenzial und sind mit wissenswerten informationen voll gestopft ^^ bis denn dann ....

love this game, but i think that the harriers etc should fly alot faster when doing the runs, and alot higher... those bombs should be flying so fast you would barely see em comming, but i would have had plenty of time to hop right out of that truck if i noticed the bomb was going that slow...

inb4 killed by shrapnel etc, that isn't my point

Yeah, youre right. That what you see in this Video is a AI-Pilot flying the Harrier and doing the Bombrun, i think with human Pilots you can do the same Thing in a "more realistic" Way. ;o)

yeah, the online was great in Arma 1, but sometimes people flying the jets just simply didn't want to do the bomb run, they just wanted to do their own thing instead of something usefull like a much needed bomb run.
