How to restore sounds on your computer

My pc is about 3 hours from a dumpster. A week of "no audio device found" an internal soundmax and an added creative sound card, both showed "driver installed but not started" and same error in control panel.

1.open up device manager

2.then go to sound,video game controllers.

3.than left click it go to property's

4.click scan for hard ware changes than your volume will automatically install. my way works

easy solution

1] go to start

2] all programs

3] accessories

4] system tools

5] at the bottom u will see system restore

6] restore to a time when u had sound [you will lose all data that you gained during that period but u can always save that on a flash drive]

hello youtube i was having trouble with my sound and i searched and searched till i found out that i had no sound driver installed i have windows Xp so i downloaded Realtek HD audio and then after i downloaded it i connected my speakers and i had sound again hope this helps for some people if you pm me i am willing to help

I acutally solved the problem by my self cause i have headphones right theres 2 things you need to plug in the speakers on the head phones and the mic and i pluged them in the wrong way XD so i switched them and pluged them in the right way and i got sound LOL i relized that i knew it

@PureAlbanianWarrior If you have been messing with your computer, like I did (Uninstalling stuff) then you most likely touched something you shouldn't of, like me :P I went to the dell website and had a talk with their customer support and they provided me with the link needed to reinstall the correct drive. I reccomend you to do the same with whatever computer manufacturer you purchised from

OK.. hear is the Issue.

NO Sound

Troubleshoot by me:1.there are Sound drivers..Updated as well.

2: if u check in sound scheam its shows its playing .. the sound barrs and equilizer are working ,,still no sound comes..

3:I Ran Win 7 Troubleshooter and it says the peripheral does not appear to be plugged in. Check the connection. but the speaker is connected and i already checked with 3 diff pairs of speakers..

4:I Downloaded Microsoft Fix it. Run It and wont work.. so can any budy help me
