@ProjectFU7 Dude, please can you make a lil video out about you made it all, As I would like to make one myself and I have been playing around with ideas of how to make stuff like this myself. I am starting up Channel a lil like yours with different drum tips and stuff. So yeah, please upload a quick vid of how to make it! :)
thats sweet! could you mount the toms on the rack too? its always a good idea to get all the weight off your bass drum. its got a more open full sound that way.
@AvengedSevenfoldDrum I broke the cymbals by myself lol, I like building things that is practical and in low cost, I do fix my original cymbal stands, but once it's broken it is hard to keep it in one piece from the vibration and cymbal's weight
anyway it's fun and challenging to make/fix percussion instruments
@DanielMcBrain thanks, basically I made cymbal stands with PVC pipes and fixed them on a metal rod with screw as a rack, two ends of the rod are connected to two standard cymbal stands and I put PVC pipes on both sides of the bass drum for extra support, also I put foam tube between pipes and the rod to absorb vibration
then I put screw rods, washers and wingnut on top of the stands to position the cymbals
I've added descriptions to the video, hope u'll understand how it works
