i love mine but but both drive and pass windows have a hard time going up and down thar air dosent work the works but only on high i will have to agree with fatymaty1 though dispite its flaws i love my car and would probably get another on if i found the right one
@jdefa01 (1of2) same here. AC stopped with the cool air im guessing about 5 years ago. got that fixed. driver side front door lock made a grinding sound and needed to open it with the key. another repair. day after i got it fixed the back driver side did the same thing. just said "f*** it" after that. driver and passenger front windows are slow and squeaky on the way down. passenger side is the worst though-guess its because that window got broken about 7 times. my neighborhood sucks...
@jdefa01 (2of2) i wound up wiring strobes and a police siren to my car alarm to scare the next burglar away. worked great XD cops banged on my door one night at 2am to tell me my alarm was tripping and the car was broken into. they also told me the only reason they came was b/c they heard the siren a mile away and thought it was a chase that ended and an officer needed assistance. lol. lights/siren was also a good backup as someone cut the alarm wire under my hood one day-i guess for later...
hahaha they dont mention how the radio sucks second you get out of the city... and how the chips tend to die... but i own one... with a 2.7 mind u... i love my intrepid dispite its flaws
@fatymaty1 the stock radio and speakers in any given car suck. thats why i didn't get anything special when i bought my intrepid. the second day I had it I ordered a really nice Pioneer stereo system, new speakers, a subwoofer, and amplifiers. it came in about 3 days. i promptly ripped out the stock radio, speakers, and speaker wiring and put my stuff in there. by the time i was done i had a decent 300 watt stereo that still sounded amazing and crystal clear when it was turned all the way up.
after 5 years and 190,000 miles, it still runs good. driver side windows is difficult to roll down and up, driver side door inside handle doesn't work and the heater only works on high.
haha she says 84029 and it showed 54
