  • The worst part 2:13...

  • Thats the ish!

  • cooooooooooooool

  • it's a bit creepy when you imagine the bottom hand to be someone elses...

  • This is one of the most amazing things I have ever heard.

  • His face looks like hes trying to push out a shit... but his fingers look like they are pushing out god itself in the form of sound.

  • I LOVE this song, enough said.

  • UACDOOM sux. Adam on the other hand is awesome.

  • INCREIBLE!!! DE LOCOS, COMO TOCAS DE BIEN FELICIDADES

  • AMAZING COVER!

  • This dude fucking rules.

  • i totally respect this guy, a lot of talent, my only thing is i would like to hear him write his own music, could anyone tell me if you know if he has any original written songs? i'd like to hear those.

  • @injackiespants Adam writes his own songs as well, his trio FoolXTrio has some cool tunes out there

  • doctor evil and mini mee :D

  • awesome my only criticism is maybe play the melody an octave higher. still a great rendition though.

  • just how on earth!? how on bloody earth!? adam you are sickeningly amazing and I have nothing but utter respect for you. you play so so beautifully. you are totally "owning" the music when you play. it's like you're inside the fretboard. there, you got me to say it - lol!

  • shit man, your fingers must sting after like a minute of this.

  • Very nice dinamics on his play!!

  • I love this song! XD The Smiths would be like "DANG!"

  • awsome jazzish interpetation. u play very musically :)

  • Wow, i thought i'd seen it all,, How did you ever learn to do that? That is amazing....

  • Surely awesome...

  • this is just amazing. great sound. very smooth and relaxing. i lust love it.

  • Very nice song choice and interpretation!

  • @UACDOOM u jelly as fuck cuzzz

  • @UACDOOM Thanks to this kind of "thinking"music will never evolve.the only thing that sounds crap is your comment.go and play knocking on heaven's door in your car.

  • @UACDOOM

You are a douchebag, bashing a man who's having fun playing the guitar the way he wants and you just made most people watching this video hate you. Good going.

  • @UACDOOM Yeah, you're right: No one wants to listen to this- that's why I'm subscribing and people are still listening to this.

    Don't speak for everyone.

Also, if you're trying to make a point, it's best to do so with educated arguments. Insults only make you look like an ass :).

  • @UACDOOM YOU MAD BRO?!

  • @UACDOOM

Maybe you should check out Stanely Jordan. Do some research, before you go yapping about this guy's style. Congratulations on not contributing anything to this thread at all. You seem like a very jealous person, which tells us that you most likely cannot play very well. lol

I jam to this type of music. Regardless of what style of music it is the rhythm is what you jam to. Not the instrument. Get over yourself.

  • @UACDOOM and what kind of music do you "jam" in your car? i would be extremely excited if i could play like this, do you understand how much pussy would be got if i played this kind of stuff for girls? but i cant, because it does take talent, i'd love to see you try and play this as flawlessly, but im guessing you can't

BOTTOM LINE: Fuck off and stop being a shit head just because your frustrated with your own lack of talent.

  • @UACDOOM It seems like a lot of people are wasting time trying to argue with you. In fact you are just ignorant and not going to become realized from a well intended response comment on youtube. This leaves me with one action: Sir, you are actually an example of someone that brings the entire human race down. You're ignorance is borderline retarded, and it is a shame that we have to share the same air as you. Choke on a dick and die, sir.

  • That is just plain Amazing and very beautiful too

  • You're fucking excellent, dude.

  • the only thing that could possibly make this better is having Dr. Evil and Mini sing along to this

  • theres no money in jazz.... no there is no money in UGLY

  • @rexxcollins lmfao hilarious!!!!

  • The reason for the duct tape is to stop unwanted string resonance behind the fret. When you tap a guitar at, for example, the 9th fret, you are creating two notes, one between the 9th fret and the saddle, and another between the 8th fret and the nut.

Try damping the bass E lightly with your right hand, and tap on the 9th, 8th, and 7th frets. You will hear an approximation of the first three notes of the major scale. The pick-up would render these notes audible, so they have to be muted.

  • Shit

  • I'm scared (Y)

  • Incredible performance....... awesome technique with excellent interpretation and delivery. Very, very nice.

  • Is this foil on the top couple of frets? What is the purpose of this?

    Thanks

  • Zack Kim FTW!

  • sick tone

    maddest playing

just when i thought i was getting good i see this guy

  • @mousepad99 to keep the other strings from vibrating while he's playing

  • @nakhatesdebe Michael Angelo Batio has good technical skill, but he has no feeling. He's clinical as a latex glove. What Fulara did here is great because he didn't just play the most notes or the fastest; he played the right notes, with emotion. The difference between the two is like the difference between Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoads; one always sounds like he's just practicing, the other sounds like his music is actually getting a point across.

  • @rottmist depending on the song batio does show emotion please stop using the same excuse as everyone else

  • Lovely!!

  • Ultra respect.

  • the pretty good yo

  • how he get that easy sounds without picking and not even distortion on?

  • @WutangClan4LiF3 maybe a compressor... I don't know :/

  • Chris Broderick kicks the shit out this guy

  • @nakhatesdebe I can't find any videos of Chris Broderick playing like this. I mean I can find him tapping but that's not really on this level.

  • @nakhatesdebe Nevermind I found his Mozart piece. I thought it was really good but I don't really see how it was better than what Adam does...

  • @Flubly well maybe i went a lil overboard on that comment lol. but michael angelo batio really is better than him, you have to agree there (:

  • @nakhatesdebe no shit ur a tard for saying that

  • @hairlessdog101 im entitled to my opinion just like so please dont start with the arguing on youtube thing.

  • @nakhatesdebe thats fine i just thought it was a ridiculous comment

  • Hello,

    Excellent, congratuation.

    Joguitac

  • I've always liked this song and have listened to it since I was a little kid

  • @StatuesBleedingGreen this guy is good but micheal angelo batio is god

  • Adam fulara is god

  • @Kebzicum this guy is good but micheal angelo batio is god man

  • He is raw..A real freakin talent.. I Play villa lobos and so on but hehe..I have to practice and woldnt get this in 20years

  • i'd say he's the best with his style.. man he's the only guy i've seen do that stuff and soo good with it.

  • @moncmon another guy who is great at his own style would be Erik Mongrain. Check out his song "Air Tap."

  • @xXEthanSXx hi Thanks for sharing.

  • this like playing two hands on the piano. lol

  • wtf nice

  • u r amazing! All I can say is wow.

  • that works by just touching the strings? Oo :O ... awesome! :D

  • @Mazequax It's a technique called tapping. Look it up.

  • @Mazequax its tapping, means that u press the strings down to get the sound without doing anything else, u can do this on every type of guitar (accoustic, accoustic/electric and electric+ some basses (if strings are small enough and easy to press down) and i think u can do it on banjo and mandolin too, ive never tried it on ukulele... but i can do that every time i want to :) some1 got a electric ukulele wich they wanna try tapping on and showing? i would love it, i got a full accoustic ukulele.

  • i know i'm probably gonna get my ass beat for asking this question, but who was the original composer of this song?

  • @threecheerer Grover Washington Jr.

  • he needs a chapman stick :)

  • Technically he's great but sounds a bit mechanical. No groove.

  • this guy needs more support...

    he is a true ARTIST...

    wow... two thumbs up...

  • @Rakggi

I think it would be awesome if the label "Rpoland" picked him up and put him with Mckee, Ross and the rest of them.

    Thoughts?

  • @leifo5343 thatd be sweet but what has he actually wrote

  • @leifo5343 I think it would be cool but he's quite a different style to those guys in my opinion. I would have said this guy's more of a classical guitarist.

  • No es el rap del doctor maligno???

  • why just dont play piano instead? i dont get this kind of guitar players. no offence people!

  • taking that a lil further leads to saying every instrument is the same in that they play the same scale...but then after all a lot of it has to do with tone.

this guy isnt just about tapping technique, personally i absolutely love his tone.

  • @xatup4ever Music needs players proficient in all instruments; will you deny them thorough enjoyment of their chosen instrument? I myself would not have chose the guitar over the keyboard, but I so well as many a composer am glad others have.

  • @xatup4ever Because guitar and piano sound very different. If every body played only one instrument, we wouldn't have half the music we have today.

  • omg!!!!

  • His dynamic control is what is so staggering to me.

  • Do you play the piano? It seems to me that what you are doing could be replicated on the piano and you are just making it hard for yourself haha. You have insane talent man.

  • u screw up, he probably can do both. To the instrument, it's own sound. He probably likes the sound of this song on this instrument. and plus he shreds on it

  • dude you look like you're from another planet

  • Wow.

  • i think i may have found my new favorite guitar player :-D

  • this is Incredibly Wonderful.

    Very well done.

    Respect

  • WoW :)

  • Comment removed

  • just something to mute the strings if he hits an open one, not exactly sure what hes usin for it, most use a wristband.

  • looks like paper, likely a bank note of the local currency. When tapping on the higher end of the neck there tends to be a bit of buzz when you release the string, muting them like that is a convenient way to counter it . I personally use a bandanna.

  • nice, i've played guitar for a minute but i still learn new stuff everyday! swell!

  • @PCPrabbit

    Look for

Stanley Jordan plays "Stairway to Heaven"

    He's perfekt since 1984.

  • these are just a pieces of paper under the strings to avoid ringing open strings, not pickups :)

  • things to mute the double tone you get when you tap a guitar

cause youll get a note from the neck up and the neck down and it sounds really bad unless you mute it.

  • paper to keep the unwanted strings from ringing out.

  • This guy is sick! Incredibly sick :P

  • @Elect2 I wish I were sick like that!! he's a genius! SUPER!

  • @MsPlayitright several geniuses stuck in just one :)

  • its called laptopping ryt??

    its a craze in UK

  • He's a real big talent guy BUT... sound like a midi file.

  • I love it :-)

  • At first I thought your stuff was fake but that looks real right there. Sweetness

  • Magical. Absolutely magical.

  • c'est jesus reincarné ouesh

  • c'est du piano ?? et comment il fait pour accorder la guitare du bas ?

  • holy crap thats amazing

  • Astonishing talent !!

  • he need a pedal sustain

  • yes

  • where is he hahahah

  • yes, but he play with his style, its easy if you play with your style, if he want play with some score its hard

  • Playing guitar this way is way harder then piano. You can learn to play this same song on piano in a few years wil on guitar u would have to play guitar for atleast 10 years and from a young age.

  • that doesnt mean anything...there are compositions in the piano that can never be played on guitar.

  • This guy is crazy...i've watched afew vids and he's SICK!

  • great dude !!!

  • i think piano..!!

  • hhhhh...impossible for me..!!

  • imposibel for an moon

  • an moon..!!hhh

  • can you tell me harder piano or this,

  • no understand..???!!!

  • harder playing guitar than piano or harder playing piano than guitar

  • how you can play so clean whit tapping? :S

  • wow and i thought i did ridiculous faces when i play lol

    great playing man !!!

  • GREAT!!!

  • traduction google pour que tu comprenne comme tu es illettré : I find this song really touching and full of nostalgia. Moreover connotation Jazz / blues is really felt from 0:25. Continuous Adam Fulara like that, and the entire city of ulysses you will visit soon checker for you with your mouth zither. See you asshole.

A bientôt connard.

  • sounds really jazzy,

    keep up the good work!

  • i'm impressed O.o

keep up the amazing work !

  • Buenisiiiiiiimo¡¡¡¡

  • finally someone that can possibly play some Micheal Angelo Batio! I'd like to hear you put some soul into his playing and twin neck style!

  • Bravo, Bravo

  • bardzo ładnie :)

  • I wonder what kind of pedal he uses to get the right sound for that tapping effect, unless it's the type of guitar he has. My guitar isn't that sensitive, so I'm thinking it's a pedal.

  • But they do make pedals that make your guitar strings more sensitive, which is perfect for two finger tapping and something like this. I doubt a guitar and an amp alone could produce this.

  • its definitely entirely possible >.>

  • I guess we'd have to ask Adam himself to get the real answer.

  • Re: CalcMaster900

A strong enough hammer-on should be enough for this; Active pickups built into a guitar could be effective (e.g. sustainer pickups) though i don't believe he is using them, or a guitar specifically built for good sustain (neck through bridge, hard-tailed bridge, through-body string-ending). From the tone, i believe he is using the neck pickup here (pickups a this position tend to yield a higher output); They are also humbuckers (which double output and buck a little hum).

  • That answers a lot.

  • Did the fact that the guitar only has neck pickups give that away?

  • Re: fragmentCR

I didn't notice, i was going by tonal warmth and roundness alone, but yes, using my eyes would help :P

  • obviously hes using a neck pickup, you can clearly see that he doesnt even have a bridge pick up lol

  • lol "from the tone i a believe he is using neck pickups"

Dude he only has neck pickups, and typically neck pickups have a lower output than bridge. They have a warmer sound however and as these pickups clearly lack the preamp of an active pickup they are passive.

    in other words....

    Fail

  • re: ohteddi;

I've had several replies about only having neck pickups; Like i've said i was going by sound, not even noticing the guitar.

A pickup placed at the neck will have a higher output due to the increased lateral vibrating distance of the string; Neck pickups are commonly wound with less runs of coil to try and balance this. I also said that these pickups are passive, not active, and was explaining that some are. You are either one seriously stupid fuck or are just trying to piss someone

  • Regardless the neck pickups are wound less hot, and after all is said and done have a lower output.

    Nice swearing.

I can see your smarter than me.

And obviously more secure than anyone else here on YouTube considering how well you take a little joshing.

Plus i'm glad i "pissed" you 'cause i can just say...

    EPIC fail.

  • Sounds like you havent spent much time playing around with nice gear. I sell instruments, and im well aware of what a guitar and amp alone can do, especially nice equipment.

  • waw!!! your so good!! that's make me dreaming(scuse my english i'm french)

  • dude, you're just so limited person, that I feel sorry for you...

  • you're just funny :D :P I'm not gonna comment this one.

  • LOL!!! You just did!!! LOL!!!

  • Van Halen isn't a household name? Besides... Ricky Martin became a household name, and I'd take Angus Young, Duane Allman, or John Entwistle (bass guitarist, but guitarist still) over him any day.

  • ARE YOU TAKING SOME PURPLE MICRODOT or something??? EDDIE VAN HALEN WILL RUN RINGS around Angus,Duane, and John...HANDS DOWN!!! Plus VAN HALEN IS A HOUSEHOLD NAME in the U.S. amongst ROCKERS...Micheal Jackson picks the best and the lead on BEAT IT was the SHIT!!! INTERNATIONAL!!! Which made VAN HALEN a household name!!! RICKY MARTIN??? Household name?? Maybe in Mexico or South America but not in U.S. LOL!!! HOLLA!!

  • No

    .

  • YES!!!!

  • have you no understanding of music? this guy IS singing the song, on his guitar.

  • Youre a great musician! not many people play guitar like you!

  • kick ass :D

  • fuckin shit man - that´s awesome...

    i´m really impressed...

and the facial expressions are great - a smile worth xD

    awesome...

  • what's that in the strings at the beginning of the fretboard? is that so when he releases strings he gets no resonance or buzzing? this guy's got talent and some funny facial expressions... but if i could make music like that i'd probably make a funny face here and there too

  • its paper so the strings dont ring

  • Maby picture of his girlfriend that left him because he spent all his time playing and practicing guitar!

    hehehe.

  • fuck thw arppegio...damn..how good this person...=p

  • How do you learn to play this beauty?
