  • nice

  • I actually flinched once when I thought a raindrop was going to hit my forehead. Incredibly realistic! Great job. ;)

  • i need to make water too, are these particles?

  • @Cambesa Yes =)

  • That was really good!

  • i would do it in after effects o_O but its great xD

  • OMG, BEAUTIFUL !!

  • how do u create rain and snom?

  • @fineone1987 if i'm not mistaken particle systems should be the trick, i'm new on the 3D world too :)

  • @Averk28 yea it is lol this is a very old comment but thanks

  • how did you do that? 3ds max and vue?

  • Nah, just 3ds Max =P Vue is more for landscapes than making rain or any other source of particles...

  • I meant ......... that background......

  • Ahhh, I would've never thought that since thats the very default sky background that comes within 3dsmax 9 =P

  • DUDE...this is totally fake... the clouds arent moving... the background is totally static!! The rain crops doesnt have a motion blur, and the crops itself arent realistic, the illumination doesnt totally matches the particles and the perspective of the angle the crops are falling doesnt coincide with the background image!

  • Man... What fuckin part of my past messages you didnt understand!?

  • the second part, and the part before that

  • Slice135, you need to tell your engineer to back up the cho cho train. Looking at you're quote on quote Tessa 3d model. Any respected modeler or animator or fx specialist would not hate nor flame on someone elses work. Either you ripped that video...or you took it out of a sample or free work project and called it your own. Berserker good stuff I enjoyed it, keep up the good work.

  • No it ís my own work, and you're totally missing why I replied what I replied, it's just a joke man

  • I got it! after reading all the comments, lol. They all seem similar in nature

  • LOL!!!

  • Ah, I'm tired of it I'm gonna make a REAL rain animation render and shut up all of you, this vid is just a fuckin test made more than a year ago, nothing compared to the quality of a final work I can do now.

  • it's a particle affect (or at least thats the easiest way, you could technically do it by hand) not positive on the exact way though

  • I'm aware that the clouds arent moving, in other words the background is totally static, I'm aware that the rain crops doesnt have a motion blur, I'm aware the crops itself arent realistic, the illumination doesnt totally matches the particles and the perspective of the angle the crops are falling doesnt coincide with the background image. But thats it, its just a TEST doesnt pretend to be REAL.

  • How Come?

  • I guess he just wondered how you did it...so that maybe he could learn?

  • good #b makes you duck. I would only be getting my unbrella to smash the screen

  • Hah, I made that ages ago and I'm aware of all its mistakes, but I'm sure that right now YOU cant do better so fuck off.

  • Dude, He was complimenting your work, not insulting it.

  • Thats ok, but this is just a test, preety old btw, not a final work ;P

  • perspective is totally wrong

  • Thats just a test dude, and I just got 1 month using 3d when I did that.

  • Can you post a tutorial ?

  • Some simple 3d Rain Crops Falling?

  • ehh WTF is this... ?!

  • good job

  • Awesome!!

  • Hey whats up man i want to do like you animations 3D characters if you have any idvises i can have i might go to school to learn it in the schooln im going to use 3D studio max and softimage XSI so thanks

  • Nice job. :)

  • Yeh, I'll do the renewed version one of these days :p

  • Speed up the drops and make them more refractive, transparent and tiny.

  • niceee im trying to find a tutorial on how to make rain particles for my new vid, i cant start it its a fight scene in the rain, but i cant dooo ittt! how did u do this? can u explain or did u see it on a tut?
