I know MS Paint is about to make a huge dent in music video history. That's why I tried my hand at it. But how many stills did that take? (And how did you keep the idea intact? After all, that must have taken you about a month to create.)
Wow. Besides the lo-fi aspect, what's so compelling is the way one image turns into another, so dreamlike. This is straight-up Surrealism performed in a digital medium.
This is fantastic. I read that you use MSPaint, but how exactly do you do this? What techniques do you use? This is all frame by frame? Why do you limit yourself to MSPaint?
MSPaint is underrated and can take you to places you never dreamed possible. Seriously. The frames are created with a lot of "SaveAsing" and are imported into an editing program, then cut down to either 30 fps(frames per second), 15 fps, or 10 fps. The one above is 15fps. I use MSPaint because its all I can afford at the moment. My animating came from resourcefulness on a hand-me-down, clunky, obsolete, McAfee-infected, warantee-expired Dell.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the reply. Do you synchronize your animations to the music, or do you just make something and add music to it afterwards? Also, how many frames does a full animation usually take?
The music is usually there before I begin, however, there have been silent beginnings. On average there are about 1500 frames so I have to stock up on memory and sometimes embark on a mass exodus of files to my external hard drive.
Great Job

great work. visually pleasing, it must have taken you forever to make, and the time has paid off.
