@akatsuki415 regardless if it's replacing it, the TRUE meaning for Christmas (God becoming human so He can die for us to live) is a major upgrade to the meaning for saturnalia (people feeling sorry for themselves after losing a battle), wouldn't you say?
The devil has something for everything doesn't he? Makes me feel even more motivated to make sure I treat the Holidays with the respect they deserve. The real reason we began celebrating to rejoice in our Savior to be Thankful for what we have. Sorry God that the world treats you like your a second thought when you are actually the ONLY reason we have the Holidays. Without you there would be no reason to have begun the celebrating.
Wow this completely negelected the fact that Christmas is just a deviece to replace the Pagen holiday Suternalia.
