People (mainly Americans) just don't like a fighter, who has beaten their favourite boxers, retire at the right time. Losing should not be the sign to retire.

you guys are kidding, joe is fast and was always fast but never close to roy in his prime, and he has fast hands but his foot work is not in the same caliber as a prime roys and never was for that matter, bernard is sneaky but not a threat at his age his was before and roy beat him with one hand and he did land powershots if you watch the fight, bernard has a great chin, calzaghe might win because of work rate, the same reason he beat hopkins but not cuz of skill speed or power..stamina

Every1 keeps sayin Jones wud win easily in his prime, watch Calzaghes fights in his prime. No matter how many times Calzaghe was tagged he'd never stop coming foward, always applying pressure. The fact is they both have never fought any1 with the speed they possess, Calzaghe has MUCH more stamina though Jones has more power. But this is what matters.. Jones power wont deter Calzaghe since he's only been down 3 times in his whole career, tuff chin. However Jones stamina is questionable. JOE = UD
